Why does a king need wealth if he lives under a hill, I agree that the goblins deserve a share in the money because he probably killed lots to get it (also good details that they drop their stolen goods when killed and that the gold pile shrinks every time its stolen borrowed from)

Glad to hear you liked the treasure pile shrinking, we tried a couple of ways of showing how much treasure was left but didn't want to clutter the UI with more numbers. Finally decided not to show exactly how much loot there is at all and I think that helps to create a bit of tension!
