This was entertaining!! It's great that this can be a multiplayer experience! And nice that you can toggle AI bots. The control and gameplay has a lot of versatility in these ways. Even though it was AI generated, that Win theme song... is wild! I felt like I was listening to the outro theme of an American anime XD I feel like the different vibes of the music you use for the main menu, in game play, and outro, clash... but at least there is different music. The gameplay music is fair, it's calm. I can vibe that while trying to pick and chose my piece placements.
Being able to rotate the camera with the mouse helped me to place the pieces much easier because at first I'm like... how do I even click around~ because (I'm assuming) the raycast detection or however you implement the detection, is colliding with parts I don't want to interact with as I try to get the the right detection that let's me drop where I am intending to make my placement.
With some added visual elements like a skybox or even particle systems for the pieces that collide, could be a neat effect! I appreciate the sound effects that seem to vary when pieces interact and or you hover on some of the elements.
I feel like this game is well put together even though it could use some visual improvement and possible audio adjustments. I feel like the greatest strength is the Connection Theme and being able to adjust the number of players and the types of players that can play. I totally put all four players on as AI to see how the simulation would play out, and that was entertaining by itself :P
The last AI player that clearly had a connect 4, took a long time to decide (evaluate all the conditions, whatever they are) if it wanted to win the game. I was looking like.... dude, the piece is right there, will you do it? Lol!!
Fun <3
