I'm a sucker for this kind of 2d but 3d style. I'd love to see more of this game. (I've always wanted to make something like this game too!) I feel like this game would feel really good on a controller too.

I appreciate the movement and how fast you can go in this game. It certainly appeals to my inner speedrunner. I do think this game is a little too hard for a game jam. You're required to have great control of the mechanics for some of the jumps and it might not be too intuitive to the inexperienced. One of the switches above spikes and across a line of projectiles in the last level comes to mind being particularly difficult. I wish the slide had a dedicated button too. These are all minor things to an otherwise great entry that I enjoyed playing a lot. I might have to try a speedrun or two!

Great job! One of my favourite games I've played this jam.

This is one of the best games on the jam I really love this. Pls play and rate my game too if you have time.

Man this is one of the most polished game I have played in this jam, Idk how capable one has to be to pull this off in 9 days. Great job!

Got to say, this is by far the best game of the jam. The art style is amazing, the music is on point, and the gameplay feels great. Job well done! I really love it.

This is genuinely one of the best platformers in the entire jam — the controls are incredibly tight and responsive, and the game cleverly rewards speedrunning while still being approachable for new players. The 2.5D visual style is stunning and the pixel art is easily among the best here. The soundtrack is so catchy — I found myself humming along, and the use of motifs throughout shows real musical craft. The grading system at the end of each level is a great touch that gives you something to chase. The dash mechanic being able to be cancelled mid-dash would be a nice quality of life addition in a future update. Can't wait to see this in the top 5! Feel free to check out my sky platformer too 😊

This game is really fun, it's quite polished and has a very unique art style.  The mechanics in this game slightly remind me of Pizza Tower, great submission!

the game is awesome! also if the correlation to the theme is not that strong, i think that this game is incredible.

This is definitely one of the best platformers I’ve played so far. The visuals, music, sound effects, and overall presentation are all excellent.

For the controls, I used the arrow keys along with Z and X, and everything felt smooth and responsive with no issues. Other than the wall-sliding issue that some people already mentioned, I didn’t run into any problems myself.

Overall, this is an incredibly impressive game, also hope more people get to see and try this game!  It genuinely amazed me, and I absolutely loved it!

I gotta say i really really love the style this game has, the movement feels good and the story is nice, overall a pretty cool game!! :D Worth noting that in the beginning i somehow went through the jail bars and softlocked myself but those are just details, very good game other than that! :D

I love the game, it has introduce some new form of movement mechanic that reminds me of when Farlight 84 just launched. But it feels a bit off that jumps are kept extremely normal. I would have liked that to be some mutation of the dash mechanic too. Other than that, everything is almost perfectly executed. Great audio, well done polish. It nails the idea that new mechanics doesn't always mean buggy gameplay. Great job!

Great job! I left my main views on the itch.io page, but I genuinely congratulate you on making such an amazing game! This is exceptionally better than a lot of games in the jam, considering all the great one's I've played today.

This is one of, if not the best platformer in the jam, and probably game overall to be be honest. The controls are extremely tight, and the game is cleverly designed to reward speedrunning, (the most fun way to play the game) while not punishing new players. I do have some complaints though.

The platforms where you need to hold the button for a really long time to do a jump to get to just don't feel good; I kept falling short of them and at times I was wondering if it was actually possible to get to them. I'd just lower them a bit to make them easier to get to and less confusing and frustrating.

The way getting hit worked was a bit of a mixed bag; sometimes I really appreciated it, while other times it was just frustrating.

This isn't a huge one at all, but it would be nice if you could cancel your dash midway through by hitting the button again.

I really enjoyed the art style, it's easily one of the best in the jam, and I found myself humming along to the soundtrack; very catchy with a great use of motifs.

Amazing work man! I look forward to your next project!

hey glad you enjoyed the game and thanks for complimenting the soundtrack!
