this game was fine, but the multiple keys i had to think about made it feel a bit clunky. making it more skill based would of made it more fun (for me at least) rather than just pressing the correct button when i have to

I feel the gameplay is just lacking a bit, all you do is click where you are supposed to click. basically all the speedchuck said

I mean if u just want to speedrun the game that's basically it. But to get the true ending, the balanced ending u do need to see which button to use and more, u can just spam ofcourse but the main goal for the game is to get the balanced ending. So if you're trying to finish the game that's it but to ACTUALLY finish the game, that's the way.

I really like the idea here, and I think the dialogue is, in general, implemented well. I enjoyed the plot.

The actual gameplay, outside of the mechanic, didn't offer much. Just press the correct key at the correct spot. Combat was spammy. Either I alternated between light and dark as enemies neared, or (for the boss) I was able to spam the appropriate attacks so quickly that I never saw multiple phases.

I only saw one ending, and I am sure there are others where the player is less balanced... but I never felt pressured to be unbalanced one way or the other.

Well exactly, this is intended, to get the perfect and balanced ending is the ultimate goal though. The unbalanced ending will be imperfect. So u do need to play fairly and correctly to get the perfect ending. So that the player will play again and again until they get their perfect ending. So I'd recommend you to play once more and try to get the balanced ending.

I did get the balanced ending. I am saying that it should have been more difficult to do so! :)
