From your comment, I believe you may have played the web version of the game. I only had about five days to build everything, so I implemented a system where levels are unlocked as you complete the previous one.
At the moment, level 8 is the end of the available content. During testing, I discovered that if players completed level 8, the game would try to load level 9, which doesn't exist yet, resulting in a black screen. Because of that, I intentionally blocked the couple from meeting on level 8 to prevent players from reaching that broken state.
I've also released a downloadable version with a few small improvements and clearer information about the current state of the game.
This project was created for the jam, but I definitely plan to continue developing it after the event. I'm really happy to hear you enjoyed the customization, visuals, and sound design, and I truly appreciate you taking the time to play and leave feedback! 😊
