Wow this game has so much potential! The web version was not displaying the lower half of the screen when I tried full screen so I just played without it. Other than that, I very much enjoyed the game! Easy 5/5 for me!

good game! I could play this a long...long time. I tend to stare at the letters always going for the kill shot rather than take the easy points. Thank you for no time limits :)

Good game, I recommend to edit the scaling of UI. Trying to play it on PC Browser, some elements (like attack button) totally disappear, I was wondering why isn't the player attacking (in fullscreen mode) then scrolled down to see that I had to press attack button which wasn't visible on fullscreen. Rest of the stuff like art. music, sfx is well done on the game, Nice work !

Wordsmiths will probably really enjoy this one.

This is one of the most polished games I have played from this jam. I played this for over an hour.

The game was great. thanks a lot for making it. It took me nearly an hour to get through all levels, but it kept me going.

Very Polished game! word games are usually not my favorite but this was unique and fun to play trying curate the perfect word to minmax damage. Can see this being a very fun mobile casual game

Very nice. Not far off being a full game if you're aiming for a mobile release? (I'm guessing from the aspect ratio.) Good job!

Super polished and addictive game. I think I played it for 30 minutes straight looking for obcure words I didnt know existed.

I will definitely bring it to app stores!

Quite polished. Already looks to be a completed game to me. Nice work!

I won! Dang, that's a good one! Really fun, polished, and the perks are designed very nicely for the space.

20 waves seems like a lot to me, at least for how slowly I was playing because I want to seek out the best words I can. For the complete game I can imagine you taking it way further than this though.

I think it would have been really cool if hunting for long words seemed more viable, and to that end I think you'd need something like "destroy one letter for free each turn" or "swap two letters" to try to build something. If there was a "long word build" with the gold brick I could even see destroying multiple letters per turn.

I'm also curious how the word detection works, because I definitely...punched in a lot of words I did not recognize at all. "Stap," for example. I couldn't figure out the rhyme or reason to it accepting certain "fake words" but not others. I assume English is not the only language it's tracking, because "ara" worked at one point too lol.

Anyway, very interesting, very well-designed. Great job!

Longer words definitely needs to have more incentives like group damage or something like that. I was thinking about having swaps and destroys (similar to the shuffle and reroll) but didn't know how balanced they would be. Now that the game is finished for the jam and I've had some play test feedback I will definitely find a way to add these power ups.

To answer word detection, I used this library: https://github.com/dwyl/english-words. There are definitely some words that might need to be filtered and need to be worked on for the future.

Thanks so much for the detailed input and for playing my game :D

Very cool idea! Had a lot of fun playing this, only thing I could say for improvement is maybe add time limits to turns, because I found myself optimising too much for my own good, therefore winning it yes, but at the cost of fun. So did put imaginary time limits while playing, I think it worked very well.
