I really liked the setting, the character movement is great, and the fog effect is incredible. I'd love to see a survival horror project from you.
The Temple Run meets Subway Surfers comparison from Bl0ck head is actually a huge compliment for a jam game — that kind of instantly recognizable gameplay loop is hard to nail. ComputerChip's point about the element of surprise with each new obstacle stage is spot on, that variety is what keeps endless runners engaging beyond the first run. MOHMOH highlighting the sound effects and mobile controls shows the polish effort really came through. WilCb's idea of adding a pursuer like a wolf to explain why the agent is running is genuinely brilliant narrative-wise — and the fact that you actually had wolves implemented originally but removed them for balance reasons shows the level of thought that went into the design. Tightening the collision masks on the rock section as LalaCats suggested and smoothing the joystick scaling like Bl0ck head recommended would make this feel really complete post-jam!
Feel free to check out my sky platformer too if you get a moment!
VERY GOOD GAME!! LOVED IT❣️ YOU CAN ALSO TRY MY GAME AS WELL , HOPE YOU WILL ENJOY❣️
Good game, reminds you of mobile endless runners, but I can't seem to get past the spikes.
Thank you for the feedback! The spikes can be tricky on the first try. A small tip: move slightly to the left, between the second and third spike, and then keep jumping without stopping. You should be able to get through easily. Thanks again!
After that it was easy enough I just got caught by the UFO
Great ! Keep going, you’re almost at the end of the game — you might even be the first one to make it!
I did get past the first UFO but then there are two more! and I lost I don't think it's possible for me to get past them.
Hello so I played your game yesterday and I tried it just now again! I think yesterday I managed to pass the rock section but I can´t remember what was after that, I have it a bit mixed up with all the other games we have to try in such a short time :) But I think after the rocks there were some dogs and they killed me right away :) Today I did not managed to pass the rock section again :) I think it is an interesting idea, just it might be good to fine tune maybe the collision masks, so it might be easier to know where I can go and where not. I was most of the time running by hit and miss and remembering the right hit ;) I see that you made more to the game and I wished I could get to those parts of the game and explore what you have created. Maybe after the JAM we all will be updating our games and fine-tunig them hihi, when we have more time, because in 9 days thats hard to achieve. In general I see your hard work in this game! Keep going :)))
I just wanted to know if anyone managed to get past the rock section in my game.
Let me know, I’m curious because I promise that part can be completed!
seemed like it was impossible with certain rocks but besides that decent game
I liked it, your game turned out really good! The only thing I’d add is something that explains why the character is running — maybe a wolf, or a horror-movie-style killer chasing the player — because that would fit the game’s atmosphere really well. Otherwise, it feels a bit strange for the player to just be running toward rocks and landmines without a reason. But overall, it turned out really great.
Thank you so much for the feedback!
Actually, at the beginning I had added wolves chasing the character. They moved around obstacles and even jumped over them, but I noticed they were too distracting, and the game was already difficult enough. That’s why I removed them.
Thanks again for playing!
It's made well content wise and Fun wise, quite an innovative idea too, something like a combination of temple run and subway. One issue though, the joystick is very rigid, either it goes too fast or doesn't go at all. You can fix that by making it a distance scaling for UI using some math instead of using rigid velocities. Then it would truly feel like a joystick instead of 2 random buttons. And I think that's what is better for this game. But still even on that, it's a game that is already very complete, playable and fun. Nice Job!
Thank you so much for the feedback! I’m really happy you liked the idea. You’re right about the joystick — I’m already working on making it smoother and more natural. Thanks again for taking the time to play it
looks like subway serf
Really great game. I love the element of surprise that you get when you reach every new stage, there's always a new obstacle. Improves replayability a lot.
Thank you so much for playing my game.
I'm really happy to hear that you enjoyed it!
I love the game and the use of GDevelop assets. The sound effects are stylish and pleasing. Props to you for adding mobile controls it’s always tricky to get them right. It would be even better if you spent more time to polish the game further.
Thank you so much for your comment!
I’m really happy that you enjoyed the game and appreciated the use of the GDevelop assets.
I’m also glad that you liked the sound effects and noticed the work done to add mobile controls.
Once the jam is over, I will definitely work on improving the game.
good game, the gameplay was fun, but the amount of spikes and landmines in one area was way too hard.
Congratulations on managing to get past the mines, and I hope you also made it through the spikes.
Those two sections were intentionally designed to be difficult, to test the player's skills.
After that part, the game becomes a bit easier. Thanks again for playing!
nice game
