Feels like a fantastic homage to classic, old-school atari games.

The visuals, music, character damage flashes, and monster death effects are all extremely well done. 

I also noticed that the ending seems to mirror the beginning, I really like that!

The consistent aesthetics and art style give Pit Panic a really appealing and cohesive look — everything fits together perfectly. The music is a standout highlight that really enhances the atmosphere and keeps the energy up. The funny character design and the premise of climbing while shooting enemies is genuinely engaging and fun. Tweaking the gun responsiveness to feel less delayed and balancing the enemy spawn amount at the start would make the combat feel much smoother — having 3 eye enemies chasing you at once is quite the surprise! Man, the character is really funny, and the game is good! I’d just improve the speed of those eyes and maybe adjust the spawn amount — I had 3 of them chasing me haha.

Loved the music, and I think the premise of the game with moving upwards and shooting is good. I think the gun needs its responsiveness working on though, as it feels clunky and delayed.
