This made my son giggle everytime I fall. Nice first game, congrats for participating! Good job!
This is a great first game! I dont know if it was intended or not, but because there was no checkpoint system, towards the top of the climb, I started to feel real anxiety about missing a jump or hitting a bad guy since it meant going all the way back to the beginning. This definitely made it feel like a real challenge and I felt glad to have made it to the very top. Good work!
This is good for a your first game. The platforming felt very nice. I suggest adding checkpoints next time. Good job, and I hope you continue your game development journey.
Pretty decent for you’re first game. I would recommend adding some checkpoints during the climb. I died towards the end and had to start all over :( Great game nonetheless!
You put good effort into using the assets from this tutorial to try and do your own thing.
Please keep learning. This was my first godot tut as well last year
I hope you had fun and truly learned during this game jam. But i feel like this game doesn’t reflect your identity or personality yet. Keep practicing and don't get stuck in tutorial hell. :)
Hard to judge which bit is fully yours as I'm not familiar with GDevelop myself but in terms of what's presented it's good solid well rounded fun. Engaging enough that I got to the end. If it was harder then checkpoints would be a necessity I think.
There is a small bug in the player controller where if you drop down from a platform it doesn't go back into the animation frames for walk. A tiny thing.
Adhering to the theme isn't mandatory in this game Jam but next time it would be good to tackle the theme. It's a good way to prove you can use the dev tools as 'tools' to work through something that only existed in your head but then you make real. A submitted game beats an unsubmitted game though so you got the main thing down and its fun to play.
Hi there, glad you try my game I really appreaite it, and yeah it was me only there to make it I don't have many friends interested in game developing, and tanks for the support I will keep it in mind that "A submitted game beats an unsubmitted game" and next time I will try to make the theme more related.
For the bugs no worries I am willing to fix them and add a check points too and extend the map, thank you again and hope you have nice day🙏
For a first game, really nice! Next time, instead of moving with the arrow keys, you could use A and D to move :D Keep it up!
A nice first game, keep going. I know the art, it’s a beautiful art set to start with. Keep coding. And maybe try something personal next time. It can be just the story, a special movement or whatever you have in mind.
And how did you experience the 10 days? Did you plan your time well?
It would be nice if you could play and rate my game, too.
Hello there 👋, really thank you for trying my game its a real support for me, and I will keep the advice about adding my personality to games in the future, I honestly enjoyed the jam really did, but for time management i kinda struggled since I am a college student, yet it teched me to mange time more, I appreaite the question 🙏.
I would be happy to try your game sure! And hope you have nice day 🤝

Here, would be really nice if you could rate it before the rating ends.
Make it more unique! Don't feel the need to use only an asset pack and game style from a tutorial!
