Short, sweet, and fairly straight-forward. For what it is, I think it’s extremely impressive considering it was made in 3 days. However, as a standalone story, it leaves a lot to be desired. Not much happens, and the bit with the tanuki at the end feels slightly out of left field (despite the mention of him at the very beginning). The wolf himself is rather charming, and I enjoyed the interaction he had with Wonder.
There’s no implementation of the Jam theme from what I can see, but I don’t think this story was really aiming for that. The presentation is nice, and I do enjoy the small modifications made to Fuze’s sprites to make these characters your “own” so to speak. The use of only Fuze’s sprites helps add consistency to the visuals as well.
Overall solid, but nothing remarkable.
