I'm really glad I played this. It reminded me of a flash game the I used to play called Crypt Raider.  After i played this, I looked up that game and started playing it. Thanks for triggering to throwback!

Developer(+1)

Aye, nice to hear! There are plenty of flash games that were gems, but somehow haven’t been repeated today. Congrats on re-finding one, and thanks for playing!

Good game, I felt nostalgic for simple Java puzzles

Developer

Oh Java was an era for sure! Thanks!

I love it. The first game here in the jam I will also play regularly! Very good work and idea. Also the tutorial and slowly increasing difficulty is nice. Maybe you can add a download - for Linux - that would be awesome.

Would you also play and rate mine?

Developer

Many thanks! Good to hear the difficulty curve came across well enough. I hadn’t considered making desktop versions, but maybe I will now!

Submitted(+1)

Tell me if you have a desktop version. Would be nice!

And if you’ve still some time, then please rate my game until the rating time is over.

This was a fun puzzle game. When I got to this level, it was too small for me to make out.

Developer

Thank you! That’s understandable, but bright side is you were basically at the end of the game!

This is nostalgic to me. I used to play these kind of games in my nokia phone.

Developer

Thank you, Nokia games really were something else.

I remember your axolotl game from the life in 2 dimensions jam! That was my first gamejam :)

I really enjoyed this one too. I love the depth underneath the simple mechanics and controls. I also really love the aesthetic; the puzzles are easy to parse visually, and the chunky retro sound effects are really nostalgic and satisfying. It was also a really unique take on the theme!

The bonus stage after the end screen was a fun little touch.

Developer

Hiya! You’ve got good memory!! Thank you so much, nice to see we’re both still kicking and making things!

I’m sure there was more depth to pull from, but started running out of steam with other ideas admittedly. I tried to focus on the pixel art and overall aesthetic, so I’m glad to hear you found it satisfying!

Haha, I try to add a little cute extra to several of my games. A fun little touch is right c:

This game was really fun and the art style is so cute. The different mechanics were introduced well in an engaging way, and the level progression felt natural. One of my faves so far this jam!

Developer

Thank you, I’m glad you found it cute! 🐝

Loved this one! Very fun and cool idea. Especially a big fan of the sound effects, which really enhanced the experience. Super cool use of the theme, thanks for sharing!

Developer(+1)

Many thanks! Glad to hear the sound effects really helped. I imagine a neat background tune might’ve added to it. 🎶🎷🐝

solid puzzle game. Wished it was a bit more polished though. Made it until the puzzles got too small to play. Pretty good.

Developer

Appreciate it! In hindsight, level size and presentation was definitely a design decision I could’ve made better. Would you have any other advice on what would’ve made for good polish?

Submitted(+1)

there are a lot of potential  improvements: animations, backgrounds, scene transitions, tile variations, some backgrounds. They all add up to the final polish

best of luck

Really well-made and fun game! I love these kinds of puzzle games! I played it all the way through and would have happily played more levels! Keep it up!

Developer

Thanks, glad you enjoyed the beekeeping adventure!

Submitted(+1)

That was a sweet (haha) little puzzlegame.

Developer

A bee-utiful comment, appreciate it!

Un-bee-lievable!

It's cute, I like it. I didn't expect flower pollination to turn into sokoban, but that was a nice kind of surprise.

I won't ask why a bee can't push logs while carrying pollen, it's impressive enough that they can do it at all.

I didn't try the touch screen controls, but I did play through it with a gamepad.

The final level is a bit small in the browser, I imagine that's a limitation so it can work on mobile devices without causing issue.

Nature’s works in wonderful ways. That’s a good call out, as I thought it would be fine, but given it doesn’t easily turn around, it ends up limiting one view or the other. Good for me to consider in the future. Appreciate it!

Cute game with a lot of hidden depth! At first I was thinking this was easy but it really ramped up in difficulty in a really fun and enjoyable way with new mechanics every level :)

Developer

Thanks for playing and trying out all the mechanics c:
