Well - I swear I tried every colour combination but apparently I missed one. After trying again, I made it through the gates! Hooray for dumb persistence :D
Well, the initial idea was not about going through all the options. Just mix the color. Left and right are "origin" colors. The one in the middle is the result of their mixing. Some steps require you to place one of the origin colors, others are about the mixed one.
