I'm having a hard time putting my thoughts about this VN into words. "Surreal" is the best word I have. "Clam Story" is incredibly surreal. I found myself confused in some scenes, and actively disturbed in others. I'm not sure if this directly draws from anything, but this certainly feels like a folktale playing out if that makes any sense.
I enjoyed my time with it. I feel like this is the kind of story you need to read multiple times, which is both a blessing and a curse.
This feels like something out of one of my nightmares in the absolute best way possible. Please continue whatever this is
