Great conceptualization of the theme and its limitations.
The thing I had a bit of a hard time with was the UI/UX.
1. I didn't immediately understand whether I was supposed to pick or ignore the icons in the TV minigame. The text appeared and disappeared very quickly, and I had the same issue with the heartbeat prompts. One possible solution would be to replace the spawning text with floating icons around the cursor, along with input indicators showing whether I did something right or wrong and what the reward was.
2. It was difficult to keep track of the life bars, the heart, and the TV because they were so far apart on the screen. Maybe the health bar could be represented by a color effect around the character, and the character could be moved closer to the center by using some of the empty space on the right side. That would bring all the elements I need to pay attention to into one area.
In short: if the player needs to react quickly, use icons, colors, and sounds. If the player has plenty of time, use text.
