Use of the limitation
I incorporated the jam's limitation directly into the core gameplay loop by introducing a restricted steering system. Players can only control and curve the trajectory of the mud ball in mid-air a limited number of times per launch (randomized between 1 to 4 moves). Once the counter hits zero, the ball loses all steering capabilities and flies in a straight line. This creates a high-stakes, puzzle-like challenge where every single input must be calculated perfectly to bypass obstacles and successfully splat the clean laundry!

Cats be that kind of enemy sometimes hahaha love the concept :D
Thank you so much! Glad you love the concept. Cats can be real troublemakers sometimes, right?
I love the idea for this game! I really liked the artstyle you chose to go with as well! I wish there was a point system or something indicating how well I was doing, and maybe rewarding me for not using all of the balls available moves. I liked the simple idea and it really fit the theme imo!
Thank you so much for the kind words and great feedback! I'm really glad you liked the art style and the core concept.
A scoring system and rewards for efficiency (like saving moves) are fantastic ideas. I'm definitely planning to add a feature like that in the next update to give players more of a challenge. Stay tuned!
Ok game but it would be better with custom art and more levels.
Thank you for the feedback!
I suspect that this is your cat and he is really cool, but the game is weird, honestly, it has a lot of bugs, although the idea is relatively interesting.
The theme of the jam is to be the enemy or the villain, so I used a rather grumpy-looking cat who is trying to dirty the carpet that the other cat is cleaning. Since I strictly followed the 'control' limitation, I added the mechanic of restricting the number of times you can steer the ball.
Has a game design problem. I sometimes get ball with one move that are being trown to the left which means I just lose the ball.
What hurts even more is that if you miss you have to wait till the ball actually leaves the screen to trown another making every miss very expensive.
The number of movements per ball is random meaning you cannot create a strategy on how to trown or when to do it.
Has some potential with more polish
Thank you for your clear and detailed feedback! I will update the game so the cat throws the ball at a random angle between 90° and 180°. Initially, I thought limiting it to just 1/1 control move and causing misses would create an addictive challenge, but I didn't realize it would be that frustrating. Because of this, I will adjust the random angles to be more forgiving, ensuring players can still maintain good control and avoid losing the ball even with only 1 move
