Where is that written?

In the rules on the jam page, under FAQ.
Q: Can I submit a game I already made? A: No.

It has an interesting aesthetic, but I'm not sure about the gameplay. The player movement isn't relative to the camera so it becomes very awkward to control if you move it so you largely have a fixed viewpoint of a game with tricky perspective. It feels more random than anything since I never really felt like I knew when I was going to hit something.

Separate from that I'm confused over what was done during the game jam given that it looks like the game was in a playable state like a month before it started. Not quite clear on what the rules are about that.

Developer

Controlling the camera is completely optional. Personally, I don't use it.

simple but effective game. impressive that the AI was able to make this, though i feel it detracts from the experience a lot to rely completely on the AI, as it seems you've done here. lots of bugs. although the concept is super fun and i love its uniqueness.

Developer

Could you tell me more specifically about the bug?

This is awesome! I started to get the hang of it, I got about 30 seconds! I really like the art, with the simplicity of the orbs and the detailed attacks, which let you know where the hazards are. That being said, with all of the orbs looking the same, and sometimes not killing me, sometimes killing me, the game felt a little random on when I would die. I think you need better indicators on when the enemy orbs will kill you. Nice leaderboard too though!

Developer

Thank you for the advice !!

I cant survive 20 seconds, OMG am i that bad or it is really hard

Developer

If you stay still, you'll get surrounded. The key is to keep moving and watch out for crashes.
