I didnt understand that you needed to go to the car at that one moment but other than that the game is peak. The ending is just as emotional as everybody describes it. Also love the model for the bacteria. Does it have a name? I want the name for the bacteria.
The idea behind the car was that after it was manufactured and sold, nobody cared about the toy anymore so as soon as its ownder got tired of it it ended up in the landfill, wasting materials ect., but you are right that there was literally nothing to convey that. The bacteria is called "deinococcus radiodurans" but it doesnt have a human name.
peak 11/10
thank you for publishing this, you have raised my standard and gave me a life purpose. i felt 8 new emotion and this is definitely GOTY material. our game jam has been blessed with this master piece
Like, we had a club member gasp and tear up at the ending.

Nice game! I really loved the atmosphere of it all, reminds me of stuff like mouthwashing, it was pretty cool :)
Would love to see more stuff like this!
tyy :)
THE BACTERIA IS SO CUTE and I liked the visuals a lot too!!
THANKSS
I don't know how one comes up with this premise or character design but I love everything about it. Very barebones in terms of mechanics, obviously. But a cool little adventure in something that actually feels like a game world. Also appreciate that you took the time and effort to do some sound design.
Thanks! Coming up with the character was pretty simple, I looked up bacteria that don't need oxygen and just picked the prettiest one lol. Its this one i believe
It was a nice short story. I liked the retro look of the graphics, objectives were clearly marked out, and the key prompts were subtle. Great job.
Thanks, I wasn't 100% confident with the objectives (readability and wheter they make sence) so im glad it worked out well
