Beautiful art! I always underestimate how much time drawing something will take me, so definitely understand how this took up most of your time!

I was a bit confused about the circle of light being around the bed, which I thought meant I needed to interact with it. Wish there was an option at the end where the player chooses to wake up rather than have the game end on its own. I wanted to appreciate the art some more but the dream world kicked me out lol.

thank you for playing and the nice Feedback. yes i underestimated the art myself that is why the gameplay is Missing some elements but i got the update ready for after the jam. I added a simple memory loop, you will be able to find pairs and there will be a small UI who shows you a small text, some small icons and fixed it, so that you can interact with the bed and decide if you want to wake up.

I honestly didnt think of the bed before, because i wantet to create at least one end game function so that Players are not confused if they missed Something because nothing happens anymore.

I definitely loved the art style you used for this game. It was without a doubt the first thing that caught my attention and made me want to try it as soon as I saw it. I can completely understand why it took so much time to create, as the map is incredibly detailed and well-crafted throughout.

Developer

Thank you :) I got a bit out of time, that is the reason for the cutoff edges on the screen and i am honest, i did not know how much size i needet to paint so that the player didnt see the empty spaces and as i finished it, i was like oh… well…shit. I am glad you enjoyed it and thank you for the feedback

The art is GORGEOUS, and I can see why it took most of your jam time! I love the calming atmosphere and slowly piecing together memories.

The art capsule drew me in, I didn't get the music background but tried it again and I must say, it complement the atmosphere really well. Lovely game!

Developer

What a wonderful, dreamy atmosphere and gorgeous art! I can definitely see why it took up majority of the jam time. Cosy theme, and cosy narrative - for the longest time I thought this was some caring parental figure remembering/awakening memories of their children after they had grown. But the Sandman identity is also nice. Good games make you feel things, and you did it! :)

Developer

Thank you so much, i am glad you liked it. I can see the interpretation about a parent and grown up kids, i first wanted to make some smaller ending text for more room, that the player can imagine , based on what they felt but the actual text was feeling more complete so i stayed with it. The art was… a historical fight for myselfe and i am glad that it came out quite well at the end. The last plateau on the right side and some other points need polish after all. Thank you for playing.

The art is beautiful

Developer

Thank you, i am glad you like it, i somewhat underestimated the time involved, which is why it unfortunately looks cut off at the edge of the screen.

First comment: :D Very nice, I like art. After collecting all the shadows, what do you do next?

Developer(+1)

after you collected all 8 memories you can go to bed to wake up again. I wanted to make it more like a memory game but i run out of time :)
