Clam Story feels like the kind of story I've always needed to read. It feels like its main goal is to get you thinking, and feeling, engaging with it on a level most stories feel too scared to. It leaves a lot of space for you to explore the way the themes and events make you feel, in a way that compliments its themes. I wish more art-pieces did this. I can't help but leave this story with a cynical sense of optimism, a desire to believe that happiness can still be ahead, even when the world is ending. I truly loved the characters and seeing what they can each mean for each-other. I'll keep thinking about Clam Story for a very long time.
If you're on the fence about it, please, give it a read.
