I beat the boss.

The game is solid, I enjoyed it. It looks, sounds and plays like a NES game and controls very well with the right speeds of everything. The level design is good , one indicator being that there are plenty of places where you're not sure whether you should fight or run, when there's an obstacle to break and such. I really like that the area with the optional curse in the second zone is a hard one. The boss fight is a specially cool NES-style boss fight as well. The two characters are cool, I like them.

Thanks for sharing!

The graphics and NES feel on spot on here! I gave up after several attempts on the first boss battle in the forest though—the boss is too tanky and the hit boxes aren't forgiving enough given the controls here. I'd be curious to see how your game would play differently if the controls and battle mechanics felt a little more responsive, as I think you've got some cool concepts here. Thanks for making and sharing your game!

Good work on the graphics and NES feel (music, art, UI). You nailed it.

This is the kind of game I like!

This was okay.  Hit boxes and attack timing were frustrating though.  And was a bit stiff.

A  really good entry! I love the lore and the main gimmik. But i think you need to polish the attacking a little

Was having fun until I got stuck to a wall, not sure what caused it. I should come back to this one and see where the curse-scientist goes.

That sounds big. I'm gonna look into it. Where did you get stuck?
