I fell to the ground and finally closed my eyes.

The only bug I faced was very close to the end when you switch to the body form for the last time before the last puzzle, as the body was actually not even in the middle of the square when I arrived but somewhere out of the bound of a room instead, fortunately I had saved not long before so except for the small time where I wondered if what happened was just normal it didn't really matter and the experience was very smooth.

It was awesome! The story is riveting from start to finish with a good feeling of progression and things getting weirder and weirder and darker and darker, the dialogue and descriptions are very well written, and the overall atmosphere is great, the soundtrack especially is super great. I guess the rays and a few other things clash a bit but I love the main art of the inside of the house and I also really like the look of the character. The game conveys a strong NES vibe (as Sweet Home is one of my favourite NES games and the game reminded me of it a bit). Finally the puzzles are also something you could have found back then on a console and I had fun solving them, the successive small twists gave the gameplay a good sense of progression, with the very last puzzle being an adequate climax.

Thanks for sharing!

Man, this is exactly my kind of game and craziness, maybe this was the game that sparked my interest the most in the whole game jam, because of all the incredibly interesting concepts behind it. If it had more refined art, it would be a great RPG Maker classic. What a brilliant idea with the washing machine! And I felt extremely uncomfortable when the house, a safe place, started to distort and turn into a labyrinth. The puzzles are very well executed.

Aside from the big problem, which is the boat, I only tested the web version because I don't like downloading games on my PC from itch.io, so maybe that's why it bugged. But I simply couldn't access the boat anymore after going left in the third puzzle, which made me quite sad, because I loved all the concepts presented, it filled me with inspiration and even more desire to keep playing. The man in the window himself, that sarcastic and enigmatic figure...

What a good game!

I couldn't figure out the boat puzzle. I spent at least 30 minutes trying every combination I could think of. I'm curious to know if anyone has completed that part. This definitely feels like a classic NES game. The music seems a bit muffled; don't know if that was intentional. I was diappointed to finally find the key and enter the basement through the door with the cold knob only to find ... nothing. I'm sure it plays a role at some point, but I need to get to other games. Good job!

Thanks for playing! If you ever give it another shot there's a text file with hints in the downloads page.

Wow, looks like you guys put a lot of work into this one! I ended up making some progress inside the house but got stuck on the 1/3 boat puzzle. I'd love to play more but can't put in the full three hours for jam voting :D  Great job making it feel like a NES game.

i think somethings up with the html version where you can'tget out of the boat, I'll  have to check it out later. I don't have that issue with the downloaded version though in case you feel like checking it out.

Ah, yes... I couldn't get out of the left side on the top half of the screen.

I found there wasn’t much to do besides advance text boxes however I like this implementation of the “rpg maker horror” format as an NES game. There are some really cool features that stand out like the “line of sight” system turning rooms dark if the character can’t see inside them, things like that make me think this is extremely worth continuing. I enjoyed the sprites as well.

Thanks so much for playing and for the feedback, we really appreciate it! Sorry if you just felt bogged down by text though, there isn't a lot of guidance on what you're supposed to do in some parts to progress.
