Love that the charged attack turns a melee into a ranged one.
Graphics are great as well as the gameplay, love the audio also
Great stuff!
love it
"THE END?" With the additional 5000 points at the end I think I ended with something like 16000.
It was very fun. The game looks nice and feels good to control, it looks, sounds and plays very NES and ends with a satisfying and also very NES boss fight. The difficulty is perfect for the jam.
Thanks for sharing!
Nice NES feel! Good job on the graphics. I found it a little difficult to get a handle on the controls. I couldn't get past the boss fight because the charging time for the attack made me vulnerable to attack... or I'd get my attack off but it would hit the projectile coming at me instead of the boss. And the jumping mechanic plus the platform placement made me feel like I didn't have any good options for attacking the boss.
Really nicely balanced difficulty, and I got quite into the music!
Thank you for playing, and we're glad you liked it!
I really like the sprites for the character and the enemies
Thank you! Appreciate it

What a fun game! I defeated the ghost boss, but I'm intrigued by the question mark at the end. Maybe there's more than one ending?
Thank you for playing! The ending was tied to the lore of the game but we didn't have much time to really develop it
nice game!
Thank you for playing!
Nice lil platformer I like the spooky theming of it. Also I like the player's charge attack sending out a fireball used that to beat the final boss.
Thank you for playing it! We explored different ways to implement the ranged attack and we ended up going for a zelda-like charged attack, glad you liked it!
Nice Castlevania-like game, NES-like excepted for the follow camera (which make the pixels jump when you stop).
Thank you! We thought about the camera and maybe making it only pan horizontally but we wanted to add vertical exploration so having it follow the player seemed better. Not very NES though
