A nice little piece about a married couple. It's a bit surprising that their marriage was arranged despite being male/male, but it presented an interesting dynamic nonetheless. The folklore theme was also used nicely here. Nothing odd or surprising, just a badger honoring his family's tradition and his husband wanting to join in. The wasgo is also an interesting rare species that came from folklore. Truthfully, even though I enjoyed the quiet solemnity of this story, I think I would have liked to see a bit more drama. This story ends pretty quickly with the predictable "we should have talked about this before" conclusion where they then live happily ever after as if the problem never existed. It's sweet and good for the heart, but I think it also lacks a bit of spice to make it exciting or stand out. The folklore theme is also played very straight, and I don't think it necessarily applied specifically to Brock's life. Like, replace it with any other tradition and the story would be the same. So, nothing special, but still a decent story.
