The atmosphere is dialled in. The heartbeats beating faster and slower were amazing. The jump scare of the weird thing is cool, and the monkey that was sitting on a chair was really funny and scary. Why has no one ever said I looked ugly?

The hitboxes seem to be quite bad. You shouldn't be slipping down the stairs. The code never seemed to get used. A sprint would be sweet. On the little ramp, you seem to be glued to the ceiling. After flicking the lever, I got glitched badly, not sure what happened.

5.5/10, good little experience.

I liked the look of the game a lot, the lighting and shadows really added to the experience to make it a dark and creepy atmosphere.

I felt like the character movement was agonizingly slow. Going up stairs took way too long and I died(?) and got spawned on the first floor again, which was frustrating.

Overall well done however, it’s a visually pleasing game.

Thanks for the feedback! I should be able to fix the speed issue soon

The game visually looks good, and the atmosphere with small hallways adds to the fear factor. The slow movement adds to that as well, but that feels unintentional or at least doesn't feel quite right to move so slowly. I approached an object on the ground which proxied me out of the map and as I slowly fell back down I was able to steer myself back inbounds near what I think was the "end" and got chased by something, so I might have inadvertently skipped a bit of gameplay.  And then it was just over. 10/10

Thanks for playing! Apologies for the bug where you fell through the map, i still dont know how that keeps happening cause i play test it often and I am yet to encounter it but nonetheless i really appreciate the feedback.

Download the updated version for the best experience!(better optimisation + main menu)

The movement is a bit slow, the game has a certain atmosphere to it, i couldn't pull the lever to turn on the lights, some sort of crosshair and visual hints would probably be good

Creepy atmosphere.  The sound design was great.

I might have missed the death game theme aspect.

The game froze up near the "is that me" message, when you come across your body.  There was a lot of clipping.  I even fell off the map near the table in the upstairs room.

You should let the player use left/right click instead of f/p.  Also, the title/menu screen looks so bland compared to the rest of the game.  That's an easy fix.

Developer

Thanks for rating! I'll probably fix the main menu+ bugs soon but thanks a lot for the feedback
