I love the game but I NEED LORE

Is there an asset in this game that isn't made by AI?

Hah, I do not have the reaction time for this game, lol.

Combined with how long it takes you to change direction, it's pretty punishing. Edges of the map feel oddly sticky as a result too. Kinda has me wondering how the game would feel if it screen-wrapped in normal flight mode instead.

After a bit I realized that in order for the dash to work, the enemies would all have to end up in lanes at the bottom, which made some enemies like the snake feel less insane to react to ^^;  But even with that knowledge I still wasn't fast enough. I concede to those with twitchier reflexes than I.

Game was fun though, I just wish it was maybe a bit slower at first before ramping up to the sort of speed the game starts you on currently, and maybe for the character to have a bit easier of a time turning around, it does feel a bit out of place for the kind of character design, I'd imagine something stockier having that kind of momentum.

Still, it's a fun little arcade minigame!

Hello creator of a very similarly-titled game to mine! :) Interesting idea to make you catch the enemies, cause in games like this you usually have to avoid colliding into things. ;) I also liked the sequence in between  where you have to use the buttons to dash. I do agree with the previous comment that the speeds could do with some tweaking, especially the inertia makes it a bit steep to come back from max speed.

Interesting twist! It took me a few to realize that I needed to run into the enemies to survive, but it works. I'd be curious to see how your game would play differently with some of the speeds tweaked—both for the player character as well as for the enemies—as everything felt a little fast to me. Thanks for making and sharing your game!

I like the SFX and music! Gameplay is also good! Feels like an arcade game though, but it's good nontheless!

Cute Gameplay. As a player I did it find it weird that I had to run into enemies but after I got the hang of it, it was quite easy!

Developer

Thanks! I wanted player to feel unorthodox while playing, because of the curse theme.

I really enjoyed the music and sound effects; when you accumulate enemies and have to dodge with Z and X, it becomes quite challenging.

Developer

Oh thank you! You catched the tempo, I guess :D

Good gameplay idea, but the controls are a bit too sensitive, which makes it difficult to precisely control the fairy's movements. The graphics are nice and well designed, and the music fits the atmosphere, well done overall ! :)

Developer

Thanks a lot! I made movements difficult on purpose, but players might hurt their machine :)
