As much as I'd love to hear everything you've come up with and have it be included in this jam, I'm afraid I have to insist that the overall runtime be reduced to get it much closer to the 30-minute limit for your official submission to the jam.
I do believe you when you say you tried to limit it, I really do, but I cannot make an exception like this. Otherwise I'd feel an obligation to allow everyone to do that. The limit was intentionally set to 30 minutes in order to better ensure everyone that submits is given sufficient feedback (In my experience and that of other composers on itch, typically more people are likely to listen to/rate other's work if it's <=30 minutes compared to if it's 40+ minutes).
With that being said, I don't want to deny you or anyone else any meaningful feedback you might get from others. So, if you'd like to share the material that goes over the limit, you can add a link to those tracks separated from the rest of your submission in a comment on the submission page (not the itch page, but the space where comments are left by other people during a jam's voting period). I will allow this so long as this material is distinctly marked as being separate from the other, submitted material, and that you know that it does not get taken into consideration in the final ratings.
If you do decide to go with the above-mentioned suggestion, I am gonna be strict about it to ensure the final submission fits the runtime limit.
