Really funny and charming artstyle, wish there was some more animations for the turtle, and I Was a bit ocnfused where i was going, the rat guy in the shop is cool. Loved the silliness.

WOW AMAZING ART! I took some screenshot and saved them for my pc background image. I hope there is a photograph mode where i can move the scene around so the turtle is not always in the middle!

Great work!

Hats off to the artist! I liked the grungy aesthetic and exploration bit. I didn't notice any difference when I stood in the search light too long and the meter filled up - not sure if this was an unfinished mechanic but it was very reminiscent of Metal Gear Solid; would've been nice to see it in action. Also the bgm and music in the van were playing simultaneously at one point, and the dialogue font could've been bigger, but other than that, nice game and great entry for your first jam!

I like the art style, and I absolutely loved the rat lol with his rat calendar. I did get confused on what I needed to do so I think you should add something to make it clearer!

It was a little janky and hard to understand, i didnt quite make out the objective or if my input even changed anything, the art was nice tho aswell as the dialogues

That's fair! We wanted to make it more apparent, but couldn't in the timeframe. If it helps, everytime the 'E' or exclamation mark shows up it should activate something when you press it, whether that is talking to an NPC, picking up an item, transitioning levels, or messing around with the radioactive puddle and construction truck. We also didn't have time to show the player that if you pick up an item and talk to Gaz (The Rat in the van) that you can then buy a mutation in his shop! So far the only mutation available is the super jump in the side-scrolling level (activated by pressing 'Q')
