Theme Interpretation
The core gameplay revolves around mutating a tiny turtle. By harvesting cells, the player buys various biological mutations (like Spined Shell, Gamma Breath, Chitin, etc.) to evolve the turtle into a giant, city-destroying Kaiju.

Great cookie clicker with a mutation spin!

The only thing I would like to mention is that evolution takes sooo much money! It would be nice to lower it just for the jam so we can get stronger faster to try different upgrades.

Great fun overall!

Also, sounds and arts are both perfect!

I played the game for a bit, made some upgrades to get it going, walked away from the keyboard for a few hours... (to be continued)

...came back 14 hours later, acid spit lv 32, spiked shell lv 31, radioactive tail lv 26, cell core lv 13, evolution lv 1. Nice auto-tapper incremental, the evolution to a bigger turtle was a nice visual upgrade, it felt like an auto-clicker I used to play for mobile (this could easily be a mobile game). Nice job! :)

this is the greatest game of all time it took me 7 hours to beat

Developer

You’re a monster

i love the idea of this game, the sfx and visuals are fire, the enemies visuals were sick though... GJ ^_^

I got to Big Apartments 2 before I tapped out. Would have liked if there were an ending you could reach within a much more reasonable amount of time considering this is a jam game, but I understand why it's long, given it's an incremental game.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing! Clicking with a single mouse is a true test of stamina, as the game was balanced for mobile screens and multi-tapping. Appreciate your honest feedback, it helps a lot!

Oh wow, haha, well that makes a little more sense!

My right hand went through hell and back but it was a really fun journey! It's a really good take on the incremental genre! 5/5 fun
I think I would have preferred if evolution 2 was gamma breath instead of the tail so that I could click less earlier in the game. Also the SFX got annoying quick.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! Beating my game is indeed a hell of a challenge :) I’ll definitely look into the progression balance and those high-pitched SFX for the post-jam build!

At first glance I thought this was an autobattler and I wouldn;t except an idle clicking game. Very good execution on the mechanics. Love the evolution stages. Good job!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback!

Agree with comments about sounds being a bit grating. I'm not too familiar with clicker conventions so had to figure out the grind, how to get money by clicking the turtle,  what the upgrades did etc. Love how it suits the theme and scales up though! Nice sprite work too

Developer

Thanks for the honest feedback! I’ve already regretted those sounds a hundred times :)

Nice clicker game! I really liked the sfx and the visuals!

Thanks for the feedback!

this game is too good, goodbye my free time

I finished it! Damn those large apartment complexes. really well done UI

Developer (1 edit) (+2)

Thanks for the honest feedback! I am very glad that you had to go through this hell :)

Great game! I've already wanted to kick the crap out of park benches.

Really had to bring my python script with this one 😂 Solid Game 🐢

Developer

Haha, the game was designed for mobile (where you can tap with 5 fingers), so writing a python script for PC is actually a genius move! Thanks for playing!

Iit gets pretty rediculous if you try and push to Tortzilla

Almost broke my mouse on the small tree. 10/10

Good use of theme! I really wanted to see the final evolution. The balancing spikes up a mountain almost immediately. The sound needs to be less tinny and high pitch if it's gonna play the whole time. Core systems work.

Submitted(+1)

Really love the pixel art characters. I had fun, but the balancing felt a bit off. I really really wish there was more of your original art like in the background and the UI could use some love. Sound choice for the turtle click was a little annoying. Huge shout out to you for being a 1 person team. Id suggest if you're going to shift the pitch, the range should be really small.

Developer

Thanks for the honest feedback! The SFX setup played a bad joke on me at the last moment.

Nice entry, clickers seem to fit well the mutation theme. Initially I couldn't figure out that I have to click on turtle to get money, I thought destroying objects gives money. Took me some time to figure out

Developer

Thanks for the honest feedback! And it really wasn’t intuitive.

Submitted(+1)

good game, but the SFX is lil  annoying

Developer

Thanks for the honest feedback! I agree the click sound can get repetitive after a while.

Submitted(+1)

Pretty good, I do love a game with crazy numbers. The only thing i would suggest is something to make leveling up your turtle less repetitive, also it needs more clarity on what each upgrade does.

Developer

Thanks for the honest feedback! Maybe you’re right about that, but it seemed to me that it would be too much text in game.
