How did you fit the theme?
The barge is the tugboat's companion! Only the tugboat moves, but can't carry cargo without the barge :] They're a little team!

How many cookies did you eat?
OOH like. 5 honestly should have had more (I'm guessing this is a joke)

The overall feel of the game is really nice, the art, colors and audio really complement each other and I feel like it has a lot of potential. The controls are really hard to get used to making it really difficult to dock and the barge keeps snapping off super easy, so I think if you can tweak that it would be an amazing game.

Great job tho! :)

I love the visual style of this game, and the music fits really well. The controls are a bit difficult to get used to for my taste. I would prefer that the up button would move the ship always in the direction of facing, and the down button would make the ship go back.
Overall, it is very well done!

This is a very cool game! I can feel this being very cozy! I love the music, too. Gameplay wise, it's simple but still interesting - I bet it would benefit from some sort of unique part for travel, e.g. some minigame or something that makes moving between ports more interesting. The one thing I didn't like was the controls, which I couldn't tell if they were intentionally weird, but it ended up being more frustrating than fun and gimmicky for me. Overall though, great job!

UI/UX is perfect with all the necessary add-ons (tuto included). Art and music go together in harmony. I鈥檇 say the movement mechanics need improvement and the controls can be confusing. For the movement mechanics you gotta check this game:

I think there鈥檚 immense potential for a cute and cozy game that can work for you if you polish it further, like serious potential. Congrats on this one :)

What a great game, but it's a bit difficult. I hope you'll try my game and give it a try

The controls were a bit confusing, though the graphics and the page layout made me fall in love with the design aspect of your game. I believe more people should play and rate this work.

Aah thank you so much! I'm so happy you liked the page, we had a lot of fun crafting it together >:J

What part of the controls were confusing for you?

If I remember correctly the Forwards and backwards controls were calculated relative to the camera. That is a common practice in 3d games where the player has the ability to look around. In this case the camera was always stable, so the movement felt a little bit stiff. That's my own opinion though, maybe I am just not used to controls of these type 馃槄.

The movement mechanics and art style feel very polished! The addition of the minimap is also a nice touch. Felt like the boat and barge would get stuck pretty often when delivering to the docks though.

Thank you so much for your feedback!! I'm so happy you liked it :]

I agree docking is a little finicky; the active area of the dock is quite big, so even in the L-shaped ones it is usually best to go straight in, deliver/pick up, and then reverse out of it without turning or detaching the barge.

Thanks for playing!! <3
