Really liked this entry! Very charming. Spent too long trying to bruteforce climb the waterfall from the other side haha. Art is great, audio is great, no bugs or places to get stuck in. 10/10.
HAHAH im glad i listened when my friends told me to keep the seagull, he was actually supposed to just be a placeholder😭 i probably should've added a proper path from the other side of the waterfall too :] or made it more obvious that it wasn't the intended path. thank you so much for playing Hermit and the compliments! i absolutely LOVED shrimp shack as well!! 🦐🦀

pretty satisfying game, even though it looks a little simple. I love the art style, however I don't see how it fits the limitation of "against the rules"... But either way, this is an amazing submission
thank you!! as for the limitation, to get the "true ending" there is an instruction you have to ignore :] but i can see how that might not be obvious since it's only a small part of the whole game, and you can still beat it either way. anyways, thank you for playing! i'm glad you enjoyed it :D

I was drawn by the nice cover art and the game page and had fun scouring the island for shells! I also felt bad about stealing the snail's shell :'( Great submission overall!
Very cute! I liked collecting the shells and putting on new ones. I like that even though its a small game, you implemented two different endings and it kinda makes me wanna go back and get the other one. I would've like the game to be a little bit longer, maybe a bigger map or more parkour (I liked the parkour and exploring my way up there). Otherwise, it was fun!
aaah thank you!! 😭 i actually had planned the game to be a bit bigger, with different minigames for each shell. halfway through i realized im definitely overscoping (i couldnt possibly code 5 different games in a week as a first timer lol) so i decided to cut it and focused more on the main game. thank you for your feedback!
very nice game, i got the thief ending, right after i snatched the snail’s shell i felt bad and wanted to give it back but now i feel even more bad when i saw that little snail’s eyes full of tears, stupid me i listened to the instructions haha
