- Wow. This was another strong entry this week. Sawed-off left some extensive commentary on the game, so I won't cover much of the same ground. The only things I'll note is that the jumping felt... wonky? But this isn't a ding, I'm blaming myself for not getting used to the controls. The only thing that I can really ding you on is UI polish, which is visually clashing with the beautiful aesthetic you have for the rest of the game. User prompting was a bit hit and miss to me - I would have liked an interaction prompt (like "press e to interact") specifically on the second pogo stick as well. Also, I didn't see subtitles for the first sound clip, but did for the second? I don't know if I just missed it or if there is a bug there. However, this is genuinely fun, creative, and very well done overall. 4/5 for polish/completeness, but 5/5 for the other two categories. 👏🏽

Polish/Completeness
I played through the most recent version. I didn't seem to encounter the same bugs I did on my first attempt. The core gameplay loop is there. There's audio, dialogue, subtitles, music, menus, etc.
If
I'm being critical
- Menus and UI could use some polish
- Props in the lava in room 3, probably shouldn't have collision
- Maybe add a slight randomized pitch to the pogo soundfx
5/5
Creativity
I love the concept and the aesthetic. I really enjoyed this one. Super creative!
However, I will dock one point just for not meeting all the criteria for the game. Apart from the door at the start, it seemed to be missing the "door that remembers" and the "password". (My entry doesn't have them either)
4/5
Fun/Engagement
I had a lot of fun on my first playthrough. The second time around, I breezed through it.
But as I said when I first beat it, I had that feeling of "oh man, it's over".
I did feel the last level was a little underwhelming. But I don't have a lot to compare it to this jam, so I'm going to give you full points.

Overall
This was a super cool game. Awesome job. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for both of your reviews!
We didn't expect such a positive response, not to mention playing through the game a second time when we released a bug fix. Seriously, thank you.
There was indeed a GoldSrc influence, specifically Kreedz (given that the creative designer of this project has an embarrassing amount of hours clocked into Kz and HnS). The main idea for us was to lean into it being more of an engaging and responsive experience. Originally the idea was completely different, but we pivoted into this idea after some days of work and deliberation.
We're really happy you enjoyed our game and thanks for sharing what you thought about it with us.

The influence definitely shows, and is well appreciated. Honestly, I wouldn't mind seeing a spinoff for week #7, layer on some shooting and maybe weight affects your movement ;)
I should be finalizing my entry, but I got distracted by this one.
This was sick. It captured my love for classic Quake/GoldSrc movement. Really cool concept, good aesthetic and nice sound/music. I was hoping for more when it ended.
I found the second level the hardest. I crossed the pipes on the left to get the first audio. Then, to get to the other section, I realized I could time the jump like a bhop and jump on the lava.
I also found that on level three, I was able to double jump?
Overall, really happy the .exe wasn't a virus and was actually a banger of a game.
