A cool game with interesting minigames :) I also like the narrative element of the game
Thanks! We felt like giving the mad scientist some personality would help players through the process ✨
Excellent artstyle, curious to see it with all mechanics implemented
Thanks for the feedback! ✨We unfortunately only got to test up until the tutorial, the rest was just up to experimentation 😅👌
What a nice story, I like how humor is incorporated in this game, it makes the game much more interesting and enjoyable. In the describiton it says I can continue minigames untill have all parts, but I can’t go to the graveyard untill night, which I do know how to get at the beginning of the night. I tried to clean the laboratory, but it doesn’t seem to take me there.
Anyway, it is a great game as it is. Well done!
Thanks for the feedback, we wanted to give the game more humor as I don't usually see much in game jams 😅
I should have mentioned it in the dialogue. The day is supposed to end at 00:00, then you would wash in the lab, collect body parts at night and stitch the bodyparts together whenever you had parts.
We were only able to debug up to the end of the tutorial 😅
Great game
Thank you for playing! :)
love the art! and the minigames if thats what you would call them are pretty good too! good game!
Thank you for playing :)
I liked the art style, the music fits well, and the tasks are intuitive. It's a shame I didn't read the Discord message and my 44-cookie game froze. Otherwise, a good game.
Thank you for playing :)
Sorry about that I tried to mention it everywhere I could, posted it on the game page and discord, gonna work on an end screen asap
I like the artstyle a lot. It's beautiful! I wish there were more minigames.I washing dish a lot I almost become dish master lol,and I feel dialogue scroll are a bit too slow.Overall, a good and interesting point and click game.
Thank you, and thank you for taking the time to play and review :)
We ran a little low on time, we wanted more minigames and the randomizer was supposed to go off to trigger the breaker room as well, so I knwo after the tutorial its a bit dishwashy, we plan to fix this after the jam, as well as making the continue button reveal the text for faster readers in dialogue :)
I really like your artstyle!! And oh my god, at least I can dig graves somewhere. I've been dreaming about that for a long time.
And you also said we should continue the minigames, but I haven't had any since the tutorial, except for washing dishes. Is that normal?
(and could you please rate my game too?)
Thanks for the feedback! ✨ I got the grave digging idea from an old ps2 game called Monster Lab.
We only got to debugging up until the end of the tutorial, but we were already way behind schedule 😅 so there are a few bugs, but you should be able to dig a bodypart from the grave once a day after 17:00. The day ends at 00:00.
I will be sure to go check your game 👌
I really liked the concept of completing tasks until you acquire the full character. The dishwashing, digging, and sewing mechanics are very well developed, and I really love the art style, it’s beautiful!
Thanks for the feedback ✨ we were trying to make a game that felt more cozy with some humor, something different than what people usually play in game jams 👌
I loved the art style it unique and gives the game charm and personality i hope i can see more of yall work
Thank you for playing and taking the time to review :)
Just love it.
Thank you, I'm glad you tried it and liked it! :)
The style is awesome!
like others said the pacing of the tasks could use some tweaking.
Additionally, A quality of life update should be when the text loading is animating in, ; it should reveal itself fully whenever you hit the button. As some people read fast and waiting for it to come in took longer than expected.
Overall I think this was a brilliant idea that just needed a few more playtests before launch.
This could be expanded upon with more characters, and scenes as well. The world building would be fun here!
Great work.
Thanks for the feedback! 👍 I really did want to add the text revealing in, but we unfortunately ran out of time.
I felt like it could of been improved by a few more playtests and it would of been a really good fun game✨I guess that's how time crunches go though 😅
A truly brilliant idea, I loved it; the know-it-all who assigns tasks is really funny.
Thanks! I inspired the mad scientist off of employers these days that expect you to do everything while paying you nothing 😂
Have you tried my game? I hope you like it.
The most positive side is the graphics, which are excellent and have a kind of comic book feel. The same can be said for the music. The idea is original and the tutorial has a humorous tone. Unfortunately, the game consists of washing laboratory equipment during the day. When night falls, a body part is dug up and sewn up in the morning. Since this is a demo, I believe you are aware of this problem and that new mini-games will be added because the game is promising.
Thank you for playing and taking the time to review :)
Yes we overscoped a bit and there was so much more I wanted to add, the breaker room was also supposed to trigger randomly so you have to go fix the power to continue, it got a little bit dishwashy after the tutorial where I wanted it to feel like you have a bunch of mini tasks to do that day and the to do list didn't update - also wanted to add different monsters with different stats on the limbs so you can actually create your own monster not just like in the demo
I really appreciate the time you took to comment
you got great style going on, honestly feels like you nailed lots of things like the SFX music how they mix and ofc the looks, some things are like having the full screen button of unity vs itch and when you build the screen size you aim for (plus the UI canvas now matching this one as well) and the embedded screen size (usually you want to set this a bit bigger than the games build you made in unity) these are not a criticisms on the game which is great just some stuff I learned by trial and error, I still struggle with the sizing stuff to this day lol
you should definitely pursue making a minigames + point and click adventure in this style, great work!
Thank you so much for playing and taking the time to review!
We were struggling last minute with the build so I completely understand that we messed up a few things there, thank you for the advice we will definitely be taking it! :)
Extremely fun, Also the game made me feel like alfred ( batman ), awesome artsytle and the puzzle were pretty fun, I just didnt like the fact that you had to wash the dishes everyday to pass time, but besides that It was great
Thank you for playing and rating :)
I noticed the tasks bugged out a bit and the randomizer to trigger the breaker didn't go off like it was supposed to, so it feels very washing dish heavy after the tutorial rn, hoping to fix that after the votes
Happy to hear, do you mind trying out my game too?
Yes, I'm gonna see if I can try everyones game today, wanna give everyone a fair shot and rate their games :)
