Not much here to rate with just a prototype but the art's cute and you at least gave your prototype a definitive ending and a nice bit of humor about being unfinished :P  Scoping a jam project appropriately's a lesson a lot of us have to learn the hard way, but you did a good job salvaging what you managed to make within the time.

Time management, especially in regards to how much time should be allocated to what, is something I always struggle with. I've gotten a little better over time (no pun intended) and you will too. Keep at it!

Doesn't look like the game completed, but thats ok, i liked the design of the characters even if the animations were a bit wonky. Maybe you can finish the game you were dreaming of at a later time.

I definitely understand the feeling of "ambitious gamejam game" syndrome very well. There's a couple games for jams that were supposed to be release that I never properly did because they grew way too fast that they fell out of the scope of the time frame and my capabilities at the time. So even if there's not much here, I'm still giving you mad props for managing to release something out into the public. The art is looking really nice, characters look unique and interesting, I like the animations of the player and enemies, and the dialogue was rather charming. I'm definitely interested in the history of this world, but alas, I'll have to settle for Otis' vague ramblings for now. All in all, good work on cobbling the game together in about a weeks time.
