S tier concept
Nice job! I like the gameplay behind this puzzle game. I had trouble knowing if my click worked, some sort of audio/visual feedback would have been helpful there. After figuring out the first 3 recipes (and I was positive I had them right) I was still failing requests - I think due to misclicks. It would be helpful if the ingredients were not overlapping here as well. Like others said, the gameplay is really slow. I would have played longer if the price to unlock new drinks wasn't so high. Overall great game!
Nice game! It was fun trying to guess the recipes based on the customer's feedback! It would have been great if the background music looped and there were some sound effects. The recipes were also too expensive given how much money you get from each customer, which makes the beginning very repetitive with only a few drinks available. Besides that, it was a fun game!
Great use of the limitation, I had fun satisfying the customer's very specific taste palette hehe. I think the gameplay was a little drawn out by how expensive it was to purchase a new recipe in addition to frequently getting requests for already discovered cocktails while trying to figure out undiscovered ones. Also would've loved some more audio during gameplay instead of playing in mostly silence. Still though, this is a great entry, really nice work!
i was so happy when i finally got the equilibrium recipe right :3 it would've been nice if the background music looped, also if there were sounds for adding the drinks as sometimes i couldn't tell if i had pressed it or not from looking at the glass, but this was so much fun!!
A little sad that the music isn't looping! And you should've make the recipes less expensive, why not even free? Finding out the real recipes is the fun part of the game, and it is really well done with the annotation system, I loved the idea! So you don't need a "farm" aspect to the game where the player that did solve your puzzle continue to mindlessly do the same 3 recipes over and over, because we gain nothing out of that, no dopamine, nor further knowledge. (and clicking on the bottles isnt fun in itself :/) What would've be a good way to implement the recipes in a progressive way would've been that when you successfully send a drink 2 successive times, it is then replaced by an other drink to solve. That way, the player is always solving something!
Anyway, congrats for your entry, I had a good time playing it!
I really like the idea, but it was quite difficult to remember all the recipes. Especially because I couldn't figure out how to edit recipe book properly. Also, the customer's dialogues would sometimes skip if I randomly click left mouse button. But most of this are my issues and apart from that I really liked the interpretation of the limitation.
This is a gem. Super charming and cute game. I had fun trying to figure out what was wrong with the different cocktail recipes. Loved the simple but very fitting art and music. Well done!
This game is very fun and unique take of a Papa's Xeria game executed well under the theme. I really like the twist where you have to figure out recipes yourself and can make annotations to log your findings. I personally felt the progression was way too slow and perhaps spacing out the prices would've been better. Also I wish the music would loop which is an easy fix.
I really liked the gameplay! Solving the recipes was fun. I tried to get all of the drinks, but building currency was very slow and sometimes I'd make mistakes that would cause the customer to be stuck, and I'd have to restart. I also wished the music would loop. But the art was cute and overall the game is good!
This such a good interpretation of the limitation, the graphics are really nice, I especially like the animation of the drink in the glass and how it changes with what you put in. The only thing is apart from the music not looping thats been mentioned, is I would say maybe speed up the gameplay by either lowering the cost of things or allowing to skip manually making a drink once you make it correctly.
The game was very clever! It was interesting to figure out recipes based on hints the customers give. I think this game is one of the best ones I’ve seen so far to match the limitation. My only critique is the lack of sound. The song only loops once and with no other sound effects you end up just playing the game in complete silence which broke my immersion. Overall such a cute and clever game!
Super cute!
