Loved the art style and music! I was a bit lost at first, and some of the UI didn't make sense - like flipping through the tapes - maybe a left/right arrow button and tap the middle one to grab it, instead of the Locate button? But I got it after watching the GIF tutorial on the page. Nonetheless, I wasn't able to find the right cure, oops! :D
It lacks an interactive tutorial (fortunately there are written explanations, although insufficient), and some highlights or colors to indicate what we can use. Once I found the buttons, I never managed to make a single tape. However, I really like the game’s pitch, the visuals are very beautiful, the atmosphere is great, and the idea of having a narrative frame is nice. Good job to the team!
Maybe a bug: I tried to redo a game and it seems that the tapes didn’t renew themselves.
Took me a minute to figure out what I was doing even with the little info screen. I think having some way of highlighting where the tapes have to be dragged to would be ideal. Otherwise, I liked how the aesthetic and music were really cosy, while the narrative interludes offset that by appealing to my space-specific existential dread hahaha. Good stuff!
Really lovely art style and vibe! I think the interactable stuff could have stood out just a bit more, so that I knew what to click, but once I figured it out and got into it, it was very relaxing. Nice work!
Loved the art style and the music, the buttons could use some kind of hover display to let you know what you're pressing and a bit more of a detailed instruction/tutorial would have gone a long way. Y'all knocked it out of the park on everything else though.
love the style and music, didn't understand what I was supposed to do
love the style and music, didn't understand what I was supposed to do
It took me a long time to understand what I was supposed to do, and in the end I think I didn't get it completely. Mechanics are a bit weird and not super exciting, and the interface is not clear either. Nothing indicates what can be interacted with or not, and you're not sure what is going to happen. I don't get why my inventory changes between different screens. Art is very good though, and the music is charming.
Very charming game! I loved the artstyle and the story really intrigued me; I could really see the vision. Though, I think the gameplay is very repetitive, and the more captivating part - the story - wasn’t really given much credence here. Other than that, I enjoyed this!
