Just a note of clarification—I want to stress that you should not incorporate the card art into your rating for this game’s visuals. All playing cards, tarot cards, and hanafuda cards were premade assets which I purchased. Specifically, the french suited and tarot cards are from here: https://backterria.itch.io/the-cards and the hanafuda are from here: https://jcanabal.itch.io/hanafuda-deck-pixel-art . I do not usually use premade assets, but in this case I wasn’t sure what cards I was going to need and didn’t want to invest the time if I could avoid it, and as it came down to the wire as is I feel that was the correct choice. All other art in the game is my own, and the creators of these assets are named in the credits at the title screen. I just wanted to make sure all of this was very clear and make sure no one was misled.
