I liked the graphics for this! The camera snapping was a little odd after showing where each fetch item was (it would snap back to the grass showing nothing for a second). I also wasn't super sure what the point of the bee transformation was and was able to do everything without it.

That was a great 3D with pixelated graphics , nicely done , gives nostalgia vibe i loved that... also i loved that intro it was so much funnn XDD GJ :DD

Submitted

I really like the aesthetic of the game and the art takes me right back to playing games after school as a kid. Cool!

Submitted

The pixelated graphics where nice to look at,

if im ever doing 3d i will try something like this out.

The voiceacting was quite funny :D

Submitted

Really charming and great camera work :) That's extremely impressive in 12 hours. Nice job!

Submitted

that intro was so funny! how did you make this in 12 hours?

Submitted

Ze BunnyBee has successfully escaped!

The Music and scenery made me feel like I was at a House Set Beach Party

now I know why you liked the intro to my game so much! AWESOME

I really appreciate the blockout of so many mechanics, like the camera zoom to objective, popup text, in world text, and novel movement mechanics.

Oh and being able to access the settings menu at any time from in game. Very cool.

I had trouble with the Bee Glide. I'm not sure what I was supposed to do differently, but I could never get enough altitude for it seem like it did anything besides briefly switching to be form while falling, which seemed about the same as the regular bunny hopping.

Really love the overall aesthetic and how many different game features you showcased.

It was a charming little game. I liked its retro aesthetic. The gliding mechanic felt a little underused to me.

I think the consensus is the opening scene was the star of the show! Given the 12 hours you had, I'm impressed the game had as much content as it did. I'd probably have completed one mechanic in that time lol!

Submitted

Great psx graphics!

The opening scene really cracked me. Was it you doing the voice over?

Very impressive that you made all these in just 12 hours.

Submitted

The opening scene made me laugh. 12 hours is crazy though, I would love to see what the 9 day version of this game would be like!

Really enjoyed the opening cutscene and voiceover - also the style in the cutscene is really slick! Putting this all together in 12 hours would be a mad dash, so big congrats on getting the submission in and playable!

Submitted

Definitely evoked the graphic style of the early 2000s. The bunny + bee combo was cute and has some interesting platforming potential! Gameplay was pretty bare bones but what can you really expect for 12h. A little sad I didn't get to run rampant through the city but the whole experience has humorous nonetheless.

Submitted

Not too shabby for 12 hours, but it does really show that this was made in 12 hours lol. Would've totally had some proper obstacles around if it were me. The intro cutscene was very silly though.

Really enjoyed the voice acting and sound/music in general. Also the way the cinematics come in with camera movements really reminded me of my childhood gamecube games, so if that was your intention kudos!

Developer(+1)

MORE THAN MY INTENTION!!! N64 and Gamecube (dolphin) are suh amazing consoles with wonderful exclusive that were only available on them NOT PC! so its wild to now be able to make them for everyone online ! Thanks for playing and you time here in the stream!!

Jam Host

We are disqualifying this entry due to only providing an external download through Limewire. By doing so this:

  1. Circumvents our policy around not being able to update the game after jam finish time.
  2. Lowers trust in the download for certain users with security concerns (while downloading an executable is almost always a risk, itch.io is a trusted origin)

Please reach out in Discord by opening a ticket in the "FAQ and Support" channel if you would like to discuss this and potentially re-qualify the game.

Plenty of wonderful people below that played the game and I have played theirs live on stream! I'll be happy to reach out now to your and hopefully be able to upload on itch for you and your jam. Thanks.

Developer

Just made a ticket! Waiting on someone to claim? Not sure. Hopefully this can be fixed, as we have to stream for Day 2 soon!! Thank you

sweet game! tho i was a lil confused about the bunny and the bee thing lol

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much! To explain the bunny bees, you have to know that certain wild BEES ARE BEING THREATENED OF GOING EXTINCT! So this is a funny/comedic twist on a mad scientist trying to save the bees!

  • Size: bunny DNA makes bigger bees to survive better.
  • Agility: bunny legs help escape danger.
  • Habitat: strong enough to protect their homes from climate change

Hope that clears things up!

ohhhh lol makes sense now thx! also not 100% your fault cause I was running the project with wine on my mac lol so itll naturally be slower

Developer(+1)

Woahhh! Wine!!! Now that takes me back to the days of using crossover on my 2012 macbook pro! wow. Thanks for the effort to play my game, you rock!!

Submitted(+1)

:) and thank you for giving me a very enjoyable 5 minutes

Honestly, the opening cutscene and the voice acting alone make this worth the download 🤣. The whole ‘Bunny-Bee’ premise is completely unhinged in the best way. You can tell the main priority was getting that morph-glide mechanics code working, because holding down the glide actually feels really fun once you get moving. It’s obviously a 12-hour prototype (the camera definitely fights you a bit!), It really just needs some vertical park geometry to test the jumps against currently its too flat. Awesome jam entry!

Also thank you for checking out my game!

this is really something

comic side of the game make this countless times better than if it was a serious game

models are greast, always love the retro / pixelated style

does look very unfinished but it is a prototype and made in 12 hours so thats easily forgivable

but yea, had a massive laugh playing this, love this project keep it up mate
