A creative and very cool way to implement the theme and the rocket looks really cute
Thank you for the kind feedback!
Really fun game. Love the emissive textures and particles and some of the other screen effects you used. Brings the game together nicely. Game play is fun. The gravity effect on the bullets was satisfying. A small bug, after I died, I could still keep shooting in the background.
Thank you!
I am aware of this bug, I noticed it right after submitting the build but it was too minor for me to resubmit. You should not see the bullets though, I think it's just the audio?
Yeah, just the audio. Like you said, it's very minor and doesn't effect the game play. Good job.
Super fun and very creative! One of the details I liked most was how the bullets were affected by gravity and would eventually come back down, sometimes hitting the enemy.
Thanks! Did you manage to hit the other side of the planet using the orbits? I bet that's possible!
I think so. If I remember correctly, some of the would follow me when I went to a new planet.
Oh you managed to go fast enough for them to follow you to another planet, I did not think this was possible.
Really cool idea dude! Best I could do is wave 8. I like how the player gets their health back after every wave, it's very refreshing. I think the one thing this game could use is more enemy types, maybe in later levels when you have a bunch of different enemies you also land on bigger planets that have some varying terrain. One thing I noticed, you can still shoot the worm things for a little bit after they burrow underground. Otherwise the game functioned perfectly. Good job dude!
Thank you!
I definitely wanted to make bigger planet but it implied reworking the camera and I did not have enough time to do so.
And yeah the worms capqule stay active a bit too long, I noticed it too late.
This is a really cool idea! I love using the gravity of the planet to arc shots, its genuinely so cool! I think combat could use some secondary effects to make it even more interesting, like maybe come of the flying enemies have a weakpoint on their head that you need to use gravity to hit, but it was still pretty solid.
Thanks for the feedback!
I was thinking of adding some temporary shield to help preventing bullets as well as adding randomized props with unique effects on the planets. I like you idea of flying enemies that's super fun, I'll keep it in mind ;)
Great mechanic jumping around the asteroid to dodge projectiles. Would like to be able to upgrade my jumps so I can orbit too!
Thanks for the feedback! At some point in the development the character had the physics of projectiles but it was too hard to control. I can see this being an upgrade, it sounds like a fun idea!
Short and efficient! The gravity affecting projectiles make them interesting to dodge. I wasn’t expecting to go as far as level 9. There are neat strategies that can be found, making the game pretty enjoyable. The collision with terrain can sometime make jumping a little bit finicky. But overall, I had a fun time playing it.
Wow level 9! That's pretty good!
I do think the jumping part would require some improvements yes, it has a few collision issues.
Thanks for the feedback!
This is quite fun! Nice interpretation of the theme :)
Thanks!
Really nice mechanic with the projectile gravity, it does make it a bit easy on the later waves if you find a good crevice to hide in. Nice use of bloom! Biggest suggestion would be a progress bar to see how many levels are left. Nice cute game, enjoyed it!
Hey thank you for the feedback!
The game is actually infinite, it goes on as long as you survive!
Pretty cool mechanic: using the gravity of a planet to direct projectiles. It would have been nice to have a live kill/wave progress tracker.
The difficult ramps up nicely. Well done :]
Thank you for the feedback!
The only way to know your progress is on the death screen as of right now. There is afeature to track how many enemies are left but I couldn't finish it on time. I'll try to add it later as a fix to make the game more enjoyable.
The use of gravity for spinning combined with the chaos of later waves was really fun!
Thank you, I liked that you used the word 'chaos', that's exactly the goal! ;)
