Fun game! It took me a while to figure out the time travel, but after that it all came together. Oh the hubris of a mere mortal trying to bake. Awesome job!

Really fun game! I liked the mystery and the point-and-click investigation. The story kept me curious, and the comedic moments were a nice touch.
Loved the idea of time travelling to solve a mystery :D
It was a bit hard to use the clock. It took me lots of time to realize it could work with only one gear, or that you cannot go back before 12 (I think). But aside from that, it was a pretty cool and different game to play!
Neat art work, i kinda maybe got stuck at the fridge part where, i could see the cog... i turned up the heat but it didnt seem to do much so naturally, i began to look for something i could break the ice with.
I've never actually been a fan of detective styled stuff, i'd be a terrible detective, cause i would probably add more chaos to the crime scene than solve it... XD
Nice art work!
Hey, thanks for playing the game and leaving a Review.
Well, there is no Tool to break the Ice. Turning up the Heat is the first Part of the Solution. The Fridge just needs some Time to Heat up. So mybe there is a way to skip a few hours. (The Fridge Cogwheel is the second one btw. So you need to solve another one first)
Well, if this wouldn't be a Videogame where I know all the Answers, I would also be a very bad Detective xD
I’m not particularly good at puzzle-solving, but I think this is a great game! I really like the artwork of the rooms and the voice acting. I do wish it were easier to tell which items can be examined, though! (such as highlighting the item when the mouse touches it) Good work!
Hey, thanks for playing the game and leaving a Review.
We understand, that it's sometimes hard to tell which Objects are interactable. For some Objects we want it that way though, since you shouldn't be able to just notice it by hovering over the Screen. Maybe we find a Solution, but for now we decided it should be the same for all the Objects.
The art is amazing! I lost track of time trying to solve the murder. Great work, seriously. I love the vibe and the time mechanic.
Really well done point and click. It has a good vibe that strikes a delicate balance between being a little dark and a little silly. Some of the writing seemed a bit odd, but I'm nitpicking a bit. Overall, good work. And an amazingly creative use of the jam theme.
Dude....I think you might win this. Holy crap, your game is so good. I was just telling my significant other that I haven't seen an investigative game, like this, since forever. This genre is badly needed and your graphics are so good. This is the best game I've played yet. If you're not at least a finalist I'm rioting.
Amazing work, a piece of art. It was hard for me at the beginning to understand how to use the clock to come back in time, but after I understood it, it was a lot of fun. I loved the voice acting, it was pretty professional. Congratulations on your work!
Pretty cool game but why would the fan have a turbo mode that should never be used ? Seems like a plot hole ... or maybe the floorian man changed the sign, and it was previously written "do not hang anything on the fan when turbo mode is ON" ? More seriously the game is interesting but there is a game breaking bug that made me start over from scratch. You should put a warning in the description that fullscreen can break the game, and if it always does then I think you can just disable it in the settings of the page. Because I tried to play with full screen and couldn't use properly the phone. It seemed to work but never called anything. It is only on my 2nd playthrough (no full screen) that I realized the phone was moving differently, with a slight offset (I think I was calling 0-3-3 without realizing it in full screen). Also the first time I tried to go to 4 PM it didn't work (I think I was going from 10PM but it could also be 7AM I'm not sure). That said I could still finish the game on my 2nd playthrough, and it seems that the floorian man was not the sharpest knife in the drawer :') . Even when the drawer had only a butter knife.
Hey, thanks for playing the game and leaving a Review.
Yeah, there is an Issue with the Fullscreen, but only if you change that during the Game. If you open full Screen in the Main Menu it should work just fine. But yeah, maybe we should put a warning in the Description for that...
I'm not 100% sure what you mean by going to 4 PM didn't work the first Time. You get the second cogwheel when going forward to 7 AM. When you insert it there and turn the clock back, it stops at 10 PM, which is intended, since you can exit the clock there. But after it stops you should be totally fine turning it even further back to 4 PM.
PS: We may never know what kind of Experiements he did with that Fan previously xD. Great Attention to Detail!
Really fun solve the mystery game! I got a little stuck at first cause I couldnt figure out how to call the real 911, but the hints helped me, and from there on it was smooth sailing. the art is really really good, reminded me of flash games! and the voice acting was a nice touch. I wish there was some indicator or something to let you know you CAN use the clock right after getting the first cog, which I did find out once I trial and error'd every other option. Only thing I can really say this game could have more of is allowing us to piece together the case at the end and be able to get multiple endings, otherwise really fun!
Hey, thanks for playing the game and leaving a Review.
Different Endings would have been a really cool Addition, which we didn't think of. I think Time was also a bit to short for that, but if we make updates or a newer Version we will consider it!
We heard that with the "Real 911" a lot and will think of a way to indicate it even more. Might do the same for after you insert the first cogwheel or we change the Line that opens when you open the clock with the Cogwheel, because that should normally indicate, that you can do something after inserting it.
I was almost at the end but couldn't find the butter in the fridge. I did not manage to reach noon and by clicking at the middle of the clock I ened up blocked in the menu because the clock hands disappeared.
Other than that it's very creative, I'm a bit frustrated to not reach the end because it was cool overall. Good job!
Hey, thanks for playing the game and leaving a Review.
Sorry to hear about that clock Issue. We had a Bug like that (the clock hands disappearing) once, but we were never able to reproduce it again. So if you can give us any further Information, on what you did previously or what the Situation right before was, we might be able to figure something out. Because this should definitly not happen!
I can fully understand the frustration that this happened so close to the End. Normally you should be able to turn the clock to Noon, once you inserted the third cogwheel. Maybe you find the Time to try it again.
Voice acting was incredible, the visuals are polished. It's probably one of the best puzzle games I've played in the jam so far
I like the art too much and I'm a huge fan of crime-solving games! Good combination :D
This reminded me of Black Stories, there are some cards with outrageous stories that you have to figure out. Awesome game, the visuals, sfx, music, voice-over, all gave a nice touch to the game.
My only feedback would be that the clock was kinda hard to rotate sometimes, but I eventually got used to it.
Also, really enjoyed your dial phone there.
The art is incredibly polished and it's always nice to hear voice acting in jam games!
The time turning mechanic while not 100% original (I think I remember some games in the Rusty Lake series using it) works really well design wise.
Calling 811 seemed like a stretch to figure out. Especially for the first puzzle. I read from some other comment that it's supposed to be the note but I think the bottom part of the 8 looks smaller making it harder to see it was an 8 originally. Maybe there could be some blood on the 8 to make it easier to figure out? Or something else to make it a bit more clear.
The phone also bugs out if you click fullscreen AFTER clicking "Play" on the main menu. If you play without fullscreen it's fine or if you click fullscreen in the main menu it works.
(The bug is that you literally can't move it further than like half a number)
My biggest issue was the clock. I had gotten the first cogwheel and thought I have to get them all for the clock to work. I even tried to move it and it did nothing so at this point I was 100% sure I need to collect all the cogwheels in order to continue...
It made no sense to me that it would work before all of them connect.
The clock is incredibly finicky to use. Even after using the hint and knowing I can move time it took me several clicks each time I try to use the clock. It was actually frustrating to move it. And it wasted my time since I had already tried the correct answer but was just fooling around wasting time because the game hadn't worked properly.
Rest of the game was fun besides the difficulty with the clock!
I enjoyed the clever repeat use of theme on the fan, sawblade, clock, record player etc.
Very solid entry! I wouldn't mind playing more of this if all the "finicky" problems are all worked out. 😁
Hey, thanks for playing the game and leaving a Review.
Sorry to hear, that you had Problems with the Clock. That it didn't move after several tries is also new to me and I will defently try to figure out a way to make it better!
The Full Screen Issue, we do know about. Sadly we don't know what exactly happens there (because we coudn't reproduce it in our Editor), but as you said, the current solution is activating Full Screen in the Main Menu. In Addition, that Problem affects not only the Telephone, but also other Elements like the Clock (so maybe that could have also been an cause for it not to work properly).
Glad to hear you enjoyed everything else though and we defently appreciate the Feedback :D
Ok, I think I figured something out.
The Problem is, that the Middle of the Clock Handle tries to follow your mouse Position, when you click on it. So if you click on the right side of the Handle, it would turn it forward to past 7 AM, which is not allowed, so it blocks the Input.
So the Solution should be: To turn the time back, you need to click on the left side of the Clock Handle, and to turn forward on the right side.
I love the idea of the game! The art is great and immersive. That said, I had a few issues:
- I wasn't able to get the phone to call anything. I tried rotating the phone to 8, 1, 1, but nothing happening. I don't know if I was using it wrong or if it was bugged. It would be nice to have some audio/visual feedback when using the phone to make it clearer how to use it.
- I tried setting the fridge to hot to melt out the cogwheel, but nothing happened. Not sure if that's a bug or if there was something else that needed to happen, but it felt like a bug.
I really wish I was able to make more progress, because the game seemed really fun. Great job!
Hey, thanks for playing the game and leaving a Review.
So for the Telephone you need to hold on the number you want to dial and turn it clockwise until it stops turning automaticaly. If you then let go and let it turn Back it should select the number. If you let go, before it stops turning on its own, there is a chance, that the wrong number is selected. To reset the dialed Number (e.g. if you made a mistake) you need to close the telephone and reopen it. Hope that helps :)
The Fridge Puzzle is not solvable until you can Travel through Time, so if the Phone Call didn't work, there is no way to get the cogwheel from the Fridge.
the hints feature saved me(im dumb), art work and voie acting were top notch. Great Work
