Great game! I had an issue with the UI because I have a 4k monitor and the UI wouldn't scale over 1920x1080, but that's a skill issue on my part. Also if you hold your mouse over the bottom right of the fishing spinning wheel it spins at the speed of light instead of having to spin the mouse

Easy to get into and fun to play! I don't know why, but I didn't realize the fish you reeled in were for your weapons. Accidentally gave up a sunfish, dang it! But was able to redeem myself the next round and got a DevFish. I had already upgraded to a Master Rod at that point, which made catching a whole lot easier.

I love the goofy atmosphere! I think the concept of acquiring ingredients to craft upgrades is an amazing concept!

That being said, the fishing minigame seems out of place for a roguelike; maybe there should be some restrictions?

I love it. Weird in the best way possible.

The eel is the best weapon. I was so OP I just stand there end killed everything ( I loved it)

I thought it was going to be just a vampire survivors like game but the fishing and cooking mechanics were really interesting and added a llot of depth and got me playing longer than I anticipated, nice work! One thing though, the UI in fullscreen is really small and doesn't scale up so I had to squint to read most things.

Fishing is pretty hard

The game has many different mechanics that shouldn't be good toghether but they work! its obviously not that polished but i think its great!

Very slick UI and interesting gameplay!

The bgm is actually made out of gold holy. My only issue is most of the visual assets dont match much with everything else around haha, but that does add quite abit of charm to the game it self.

I really like the concept of buying ingredients to make permanent upgrades. I think the fishing minigame might slow the game down a bit too much, but besides that I really enjoyed it!

I think the fishing mini-game feels a little bit out of place, but the seriousness could not be any more serious the theme of this game is very fun.

Thanks a lot for your feedback! The fishing minigame went through a lot of iterations to try and make it fit the game loop a bit better. Given more time, it would've been more dynamic for sure!

there is a lot going on here and it was overwhelming on the first few rounds. i think the menus could use a little work to explain what is going on a little better, and there seemed to be a lot of overlapping elements so it was hard to tell what i was supposed to be paying attention to; i.e. on the screen where you spin the crank to reel in a fish, it looks like the entire screen (including the crank) is dimmed so that i am supposed to be paying attention to the text at the top of the screen. it took me longer to admit to see that the crank i was supposed to be spinning my mouse around was underneath the dimming layer as opposed to anywhere on the screen. but after a few rounds, i learned what was going on i think and it started getting more fun.

there is a really bad bug(?) that ended all 3 of my runs here. sometimes the vampire survivors part of the level either spawns me on top of the enemies or the round starts before the screen switches back to it so i am dead before i even have a chance to move around on that screen. that is the only thing keeping me from playing more, if i could trust that the game wouldn't glitch and end i would likely still be playing rounds right now since i like the overall roguelike mechanics you have made here. that fix and some improved menus would go far.

Thanks a lot for the extensive feedback friend!
I got to bed at 5am trying to finish the game yesterday so there's definitely less polish than I would've liked but I fixed the game breaking bug for the other players!
