Fun game! No real complaints or critiques, it's short, simple, and sweet. Good job!
Fun small game. Does get a little repetitive it would be cool to see different zombies or different patterns to make you use your revolver in different ways and really decide when it's best to use ammo. Other than that, nice visual style and a good entry.
I agree with you, it does get very repetitive. Thanks for playing my game :)
Very fun, very simple. I'm a sucker for anything zombie related, and this reminded me a little of those arcade games of the "house of the dead" type shoot em ups. Love it!!! :D
Glad to hear it!
I like the style! The zombies are very serious
Very serious indeed
I like the visuals and audio, nice game :D
Glad you liked it :)
Pretty nice game! I love the pixel art you've used.
Would've been nice to have some enemy variety (e.g., takes 1 vs 2 vs 3 bullets to kill) as once you've "figured out" the game, it just goes on forever.
Fun!
:D
Cute pixel art. Fun take on Duck Hunt.
It does get very repetitive. After losing once (maybe twice) getting used to the game, the game seemed to be able to go on forever. Could have used a ramp in difficulty and/or powerups, as some others have mentioned.
Good job!
Thanks! I definitely should have added that into the game...
Fun little zombie duck hunt. Adding in some power ups for faster reloads or other upgrades. Additional zombie types with different degrees of difficulty would be a nice addition as well.
Power ups and different zombie types sound neat! Thanks for the feedback.
I like the visuals and music but the game gets a bit tedious over time. A difficulty curve/gradual increase could be added alongside a score / high score system to make the game more challenging as it continues, similar to old arcade games. Either way, this is a really good game!
Glad you like the visuals and music! A difficulty curve and high score system is exactly what this game needs. Thanks for playing :P
I don't understand how to reload my gun
You have to press r and then it play a twirling sound (idk what it is actually called) and after that you should've reloaded :O
Nice little start and works well enough, but the game definitely needs some kind of difficulty curve. Could have probably played forever if I hadn't gotten bored. Pixel art looks pretty decent overall, but especially the standing zombies could maybe use some more shading work? They look pretty flat right now. Music loop could have been a little longer. Still, a pretty solid start.
I agree, everything needs a little more work such as the art and music .Thanks for the feedback :)
The background art was some really nice pixel art! I think the zombie appearance on screen was a bit abrupt, having them move in from the sides, fall from the sky or even fade in might've been interesting to try? What I really liked was the spinning revolver UI, very functional and easy to read, but also very stylish!
I'm glad you liked the spinning revolver UI!!! The zombies could even come out from the ground, perhaps :P
Zombies coming from the ground make so much more sense than the parachute-deployed zombies!
My ears were blasted when I loaded in, but the revolver animation was super smooth! The "POW" sound effect is so funny. But I couldn't tell why I was being damaged, and I didn't know how many zombies I got or what the goal was. Loved the art and sound effects! Had to turn the music down almost all the way so it wasn't too loud
Sorry about the loudness of the music, I was using my speakers so I probably couldn't hear just how loud it was. I should always probably gave a better indicator that the zombies were gonna attack you instead of just an animation and I agree this game need some type of goal like scoring system. I'm glad you liked the art and sound effects though :D
