Fantastic polish for your game! Just the Itch Page alone looks fantastic, and even has a nice blend from the background colour to the background side image. Extremely impressive output for four days. Great work!

Could use some music. Felt quite odd with just SFX.

I am not sure if it was a bug, but my guy just wouldn't use his attack and do damage for some reason. Also you can cheese the enemies to have no damage, which may not be the case for later fights.

Thank you for checking out my game!

Yeah, I agree. The Words level was rushed to get it into the jam version, so it is a bit buggy unfortunately. Thank you for the feedback!

I dig the art style and it was a neat concept. Very nice cutscene at the start.

I did absolutely terribly at trading stocks though. That's mostly just me being me though. Perhaps a very slow paced tutorial first might help, as it is fairly overwhelming to get thrown into the first level.

I really loved the art and the music. Everything was very stylish and cohesive. Nice little cutscene at the start.

I was not very good at the game itself, though it is a nice gameplay loop.

Thank you!

Thank you for playing my game and for the kind words!

Very cute game! I really like the art assets. The little cutscene at the start was fun. The music was pleasant and effective.

I got stuck on how to proceed though. I met the Entity who wanted a snack to tell me where to go, but I could not seem to find anything to bring back to them.

Great job!

There was a lot of very polished artwork and UI.  I really liked the background on the start/restart screen in particular.

I was a little lost as to what to actually do during each run. Am I meant to be delivering the bomb in the time before it explodes? Or just blow up things? My Left Click didn't seem to throw the bombs.

The spring jump was fun to fling you pretty far.

The character assets were cute and charming. I am unsure if the 3D environment was intended to have the current artstyle, or if that was a placeholder. I feel that textures closer to the player character art style for the environment would help elevate the project.

Great job, folks!

Thank you!

Thank you! I appreciate your playing my entry.

Thank you for playing my game!

Wait, there was another way to do the theme?!

Thank you for playing and for the kind words. I really appreciate it!

Really cute game. I thought it was a fun, unique concept. The difficult seemed to really ramp up quickly on the level with several objects to bring to the area and relying on the rat to hit the button.

Cute game. I ended up getting frozen at the screenshot below after the room unlocked but more enemies spawned, and I left the room.

Maybe there was a strategy to finding the exit that I didn't realise, but I just went randomly from room to room until I found the exit. I agree that a minimap may have helped that.

(1 edit)

Very fun and cute concept! Would knock down things as a vampire cat again.

Edit: Also really cute sound effects!

Thank you for playing my game! I was trying to ease the player in before changing things, but it's a delicate balance and may certainly been overtuned at the start. Thank you for the feedback.

Thank you for playing my entry! It's Schrodinger's Rage Game. If you Rage Quit, it is a Rage Game therefore good game design!

If you can tell me what level you quit on, I can let you know the solution if you like. Though a general tip is to have sound on for the audio hints, and if it's the Word level to see my comment below to someone else. Also, each number has an assigned set colour.

Thank you for checking out the game!

Sorry, the Words level is for sure more janky than it should.

Thank you for checking out my game!

I thought some Roman Numeral would be a fun level. Glad you liked it!

Thank you! I appreciate you getting through the jank. The Word level was the last proper one I made so it ended up a bit rushed unfortunately.

For sure, I had plans for some other levels but needed to get the project up. Some ideas I had would be the numbers run away from the player's mouse, like a match two game in which you need to uncover and match the correct numbers in order, having an object like a rock cover the number that needs to broken first.

Neat! I seemed to average around 90 seconds per run when I was testing to make sure it worked.

Thanks again for checking it out!

Thank you for checking out my game!

The words on that level do not disappear (time constraints) but they still play the "Correct" sound when you click the number part of the word in the correct order.

The collision layer is a little funky, but clicking around the number part of the word should work. You'll either hear a positive sound for the correct number, a negative sound for the wrong number further down the chain, or no sound if it's already been clicked in the appropriate order.

I really like your pixel art. I used it for my GMTK Game Jam 2026 entry:

It's a really basic game, but the pixel art really helps!

Thank you very much for the kind words and for checking out my game!

Thank you for checking out my game! Yeah, there was one of the last level I was worried may be a little hard to see.

Thank you! I hope the barking was helpful in tracking them down, as I already knew where they were it was hard to playtest that aspect.

Haha, thank you!

Thank you for checking out my game!

The downloadable Windows version has the Raygun working properly, but the Web build was giving me issues so I had to disable it unfortunately.

Certainly, more audio would be great!

Sorry again for the second late reply!

I'm a bit rusty on the specifics of this project now, but one was during one of the loops if you looked at the painting (which was a bit different and I think made some audio cue) you'd see the ghost boy in the cabin. If you looked back and forth looking at and away from the painting, the ghost boy would progress from the cabin in the painting along the path getting bigger and bigger in the frame until he was gone. Then he'd be there "in person" in front of you for a jump scare.

I think in some of the first few loops in which not much was happening, the ghost boy was in some spots watching, like the balcony above the living room.

Thank you for checking out my game! I'm a big fan of your assets

I appreciate the compliment, though I do need to admit the House environment was a Synty prefab to speed up the project, so I cannot take too much credit.

Thank you for checking out my game!

The Web build wasn't working properly, so I had to make some quick changes (gun not working, run into gingerbread folks to collect) to the Web build while the downloadable Windows Build does have the Raygun shooting to collect Gingerbread Folks.

Yeah, I had wanted to add sensitivity settings, but did not have time unfortunately.

For sure, I'd like to have added some more unique spins in the game

Thank you again!

Thank you for checking out my game!

I positioned them first somewhere in the level and then manually edited the Texture of each one to match the background. I wanted to do more on paintings in the level, but the one I did really stands out unfortunately.

For whatever reason the thumbnail stood out to me when looking for entries to play and rate, and then I saw who the dev was. Really polished and fun, unique concept.

Got pretty frustrating, which is the point. The dog messing up my shots on the ball at the goal made me put the game down for now,

Interesting vibe and visuals. Nice job!

Fantastic. Truly spectacular. I was about to edit the page to add it, but I wonder if that will be a disqualification from the Jam. If I cannot update during the jam, I'll certainly add it once the jam is over.

I dig the vibe, though I'm not really sure what is going on or what I am doing. Really makes me feel like I'm scanning the stars for some alien signal.

Very ambitious concept, though perhaps a little hard for the player to grasp quickly.

I really liked the music. Very impressive!

Thank you for checking out my entry!

Certainly, I totally agree. That would have been the very next thing I implemented, but ran short on time. I had wanted a progress bar that fills and empties based on how long the spacebar is held down with a capped max, but as of now it is uncapped.

Haha, thank you, I'm really happy to hear that! I did some playtesting as I was making it, and I didn't think getting above 16 seconds was possible.

If you managed to get a screenshot, I'll start keeping a manual high score on the page.

Thank you! I agree, I had wanted to implement something like that but ran out of time unfortunately. I got a basic "functional" game loop finished and an Itch page up to make sure I could submit something, and then ran out of time for more game dev.
