I feel like this is great work for a first jam. I can totally see the spin wheel being expanded on for more levels in the future, which is a great sign its a fun mechanic. Invisible walls are slightly confusing sometimes, and I do feel as though there should be an indication that an item will be one time use. Otherwise though, great job.
This is cool, I really like the audio cues and the UI for picking up items. I think it could feel better for the player if items used a different button to the punch, like E or RMB. The visual style is cool and very zen, and it would really shine with some more dedicated art instead of using the default unreal engine materials. Your strengths are definitely on display here, especially considering that you had to rush it!
Nice game, good audio and visual ! Not so sure about the spinning wheel at the end, but with more work on it I'm sure it could fit.
I could see the game getting better with a faster pace but I don't know. Great work for a first jam !
The audio is great, and so are the visuals!
The gameplay is a little odd though. There's no indication that the feather is a one-time use, so it's easy to get softlocked in the first level. But once you figure that out, it's pretty fun.
Decent game! :]
It looks very interesting. Although the levels use many simple or built-in models, i personally found them interesting, and they remind me of the shrine puzzles in Zelda BOTW. The audio work is incredibly good, both soundtrack and SFX (although i expected a more energetic soundtrack for the arena fight). Super crisp sounds and nice effects. I had some issues with gameplay though. I got softlocked in the first level for example, and in the arena fight there was no feedback, i didn't understand how i died, the enemies hitboxes were kinda too big (i also didn't understand if touching enemies would damage me) , and the grenade is thrown too close, although it takes super long to detonate so it's kinda useless in combat anyway :)
Hey man thank you.
yeah it was my first game jam ever and I heavily overscoped at first.
Although something came out of it many things (also the things you mentioned) are not balanced or even there.
But still it was super fun (up until the end where i seriously was about to fall asleep)
