It's your first game, it's understandable but still well done for a first time
Really god for youre first game only thing is the hit box dont understand it
Great first game! The movement felt pretty nice, and I liked the sneaky trap/unfair platformer style. Some of the blocks genuinely caught me off guard, which made it fun to keep pushing through and see what would happen next.
My main feedback is that the game could use clearer feedback when the player gets damaged or dies. Sometimes it was hard to tell exactly what killed me, so a death animation, sound effect, or particle effect would help a lot. A checkpoint system or a small tutorial for the trap mechanics would also make it feel smoother. Overall though, this is a really solid first game, keep going!
Great job, especially for a first game!
For your first 2 weeks, super impressive! I've only learnt game dev a few months ago and couldn't dream of making this in my first 2 weeks. Good job and good luck with your game dev journey!
Hey we made our first game this gam jam as well! Love the game! Its simple but had a good time!
You've created a nice first game, and I think you should be proud of yourself for having the courage to join a jam right away! Keep it up!
Good job making your first game! Could be nice to add some spinny obstacles in the future to aim more at the "Spinning" theme!
For a first game its pretty dang good! the player controls were nice. I was able to cheese some parts by just flying into the and when obstacle moved i passed no problem. Also a checkpoint system could go a long way
Fun little game! I would say it lacks a bit of polish, for example it's really hard to know when the player get's damaged and how. But overall, great first game, keep it up!
Really great for your first game! Movement was nice and the only real issue was not knowing when the player is damaged.
A good game ! And for your first one... It's really good !
I would have loved a little "boost/dash" with the Spacebar, it would have added a lot of "feedback" to the player.
its a nice game, the biggest thing that is missing is some kind of way to tell the player that died, like maybe a animation/particle/sound etc. also good luck on your gamedev journey!
yeah i was just procatinating in dat part....sorry
For your first week with game dev, it's an interesting prototype. Hope you learn from the feedback and try to "remaster" it after you learn more about the engine and game dev theory.
1. add some eye candy details, maybe particle effects on death, maybe an animation of rotating slowly when pressing left/right
2. program in some actual movement physics - gradually speed up in the direction the player's holding instead of it being so instant, gradually slow down when all buttons are released, add some air resistance and "Sliding" when trying to change direction mid flight. Also gravity possibly?
3. make the assets more consistant - the player model is fine, but everything else is just a black cube. Try to work on that
4. "Music - idk" on the credits screen is unacceptable. The rules clearly state you have to credit everything you didn't create, and saying you don't know where you got the music from is pretty much as offending as lying about it.
But hey, keep it up! If you're young and just starting out your game dev journey - it's still impressive and cool, congratulations on finishing the jam!
sure bro but i srsly dont know, i had the music in my pc for a long time, so when i found it on my pc(by luck) i decided to use it for my a game but if the owner claims the song ill give credit no questions asked but at least its better than lying i created the song ...hmph
Hey no hard feelings, really. It's just about respect and being fair. Rules state you have to credit outside assets, so does the copyright law to be honest. But I really didn't mean no harm and it's nothing personal. Great job on finishing your first game and keep it up, looking forward to any future projects! There's a lot of game jams hosted over the summer, make sure to join a couple more and polish your skills. Good luck!
The visuals and sounds are ok and the difficulty could be improved but good game, and if it is your first then great game!
For your first game this is super impressive! I liked the overall feel of the player character and the kaizo blocks were fun lol. The maps were cleanly designed, overall had a good feel to it. My biggest note would be to have better indicators of death and what killed you - it seemed like I'd get killed somewhat randomly. Sometimes it would happen when I'd get crushed underneath by a block, but sometimes it would happen just by touching one. The collision was a bit janky in this regard.
Still, had fun. Good work!
Pretty good for your first game. Nice job with the jumpscares lol, and good music.

Good job on it being your first game, you did well with the mechanics and some blocks caught me by surprise! Keep going on making more!
Definitely didnt get jumpscared by the speed of sound block that ahnnilated me when I tried to go around the spooky dudes.
As a first game this is super good and encourage you to keep at it and make more and more and more!
