This game is awesome! The concept is really really cool! And the visuals and sound too are amazing!
Great game!!! Definitely my favorite!!! Made it to level 3... woo hoo! Excellent job!!!
Really neat concept with fantastic art & music! I found the controls a bit tricky and the level design sometimes unforgiving but overall had a fun time with this. Also enjoyed the ending, which ties in well with the theme.
Really cool game! The platforming was really fun and the ending was cool. Great job!
Thank you so much for submitting such a fun little game! What a twist!! <3
This was so good, I'm in complete awe. It's genius. Only feedback is a key would have felt better than click for the color changing, and the end end (intended) could have been more rewarding (more story or something to discover).
I won't repeat what's already been said, so I'll just list some things I've noticed:
1. The game loop is fun, but the levels don't really change much. Sure, some platforms change ways, but it's not groundbreakingly different to warrant a level system. You could've done a parcour with checkpoints and it would've worked better imo.
2. The longer I played, the less I strategised. In the end, I just yoloed and improvised. That could be a game design flaw depending on what direction the game goes.
All in all, it was a fun game that controlled great (which is important in these games)
I really love the color-changing mechanic; it reminded me of Runbow, but gives the player more agency, which is good! Honestly everything here was executed incredibly well. The visuals nail the dingy slot-arcade aesthetic (peak screen-line shader), the levels are well-designed with multiple paths to complete, the movement feels tight and not overly punishing, the bonus levels were a great evolution of the main game loop. It doesn't feel like there's any coyote time in the jumping, so maybe add that if you plan to continue working on this. But I finished the main levels and the bonus levels, so otherwise I just wish it was longer! (Obviously not expecting that for a jam game, I just had fun playing it!)
Very very cool, felt a bit unforgiving at times, but not bad in any way. Good job!
Art is such a standout here! The whole vibe/feel of the game is top notch tbh!
Really liked the spinning mechanic! And the arts awesome too. Really neat game but the seriousness never really hit imo.
hell yea
Played this on stream and LOVED the idea behind it. I'm not a big puzzle so gonna appreciate this more now that I'm not on but it was great. Really solid execution
Very fun and creative! Every death felt very much so my fault compared to the games too, so great job on balancing, and the creativity here is super cool too! I honestly just wish there were more levels lol. The buttons on the arcade moving too were super cool and immersive, alongside having to actually walk up to the arcade, and the little bits of story sprinkled throughout were a super cool vibe too! Sorta reminds me of if we got an old flash game and combined it with a fnaf arcade minigame lmao. Very well made and awesome execution, great work!
I really enjoyed my time with this. I liked how the character moved which is important for a game like this. The puzzle mechanics were cool, especially the bonus levels when the colours disappeared. Well done for making a great game! I could have happily played 20 more levels!
Check out your game on my video:
very interesting mechanics. fun & unique
I saw this on someone's stream and I had to try it for myself, and it left me wanting more levels! It reminds me of a platformer game I like [understatement] called We Are Eva. If you made this game longer it would be a really fun game to speedrun.
Favourite game i've played so far. Very enjoyable
Phenomenal concept and execution! The reveal at the end was the cherry on top for this game!
Keep up the good work!
Interesting idea, I would definitely play some more levels of this! The bonus levels were too hard though :(
