Very seamless map spinning mechanic. Very unfortune that it come with a lot of bugs. Overall nice game tho :)

Nice game, and the levels work well with the spinning mechanic. It was a little difficult to see the danger elements at first so making them a different color like red or black would maybe help. Nice job on your first game!

Super cool game! The art is gorgeous, music very fitting and the mechanic interesting and challenging. Nice!

There is a little bug where if you die the screen stays rotated,I think it should reset to normal and it should spin faster but good art and music.

The concept and the art are cool. I agree with other comments that the world rotation should be a bit faster. I'd also like the jump to be faster.

Generally it makes me dizzy to play so I want to say that I accidentally skipped through first two level, so I can only comment on 3rd level was very hard! Intro sequence felt like I was playing Constance, It felt like there was 2 perspective in the same game when continuing the story or platforming lead to!

Cool pixel art, loved level design with challenging spike placement, gameplay is little bit buggy especially rotation and respawning same time is disorienting and breaks the game a little (I skipped first two level thanks that).

I really enjoyed the idea of the game and the visual art style.

My two suggestions would be to make the screen spinning faster, and to polish out the movement some more (but given the short time limit, it is good enough).

Really well done for a first game!

I like the pixel art and the premise of the game but since it's your first game I have some feedback for you ❤️

  • I would advice you to make rotation faster because it feels way too slow like this , making it faster would be way better
  • not an advice but for the grass tilemap the dirt part gets suddenly cropped below and doesn't transition ( idk if u understand me )
  • lastly maybe u can try making spikes lighter or giving them a simple shine animation to be able to contrast the tileset or background
  • and finally when jumping sometimes jumps don't get register if u click even one millisecond before touching the floor, what many games do is something called jump buffering aka if u press before touching the floor for some frames the game makes u jump when u touch the floor

awesome and not bad for a first game

The grass part is more of an error of placement we have the correct tile but its not here

alr alr fair enough

Very trippy game~

This is hands down the best and most intriguing game in this jam!

Is it just me, or is there a level in the screenshots that isn't in the game?
Pixel art is nice, really liked your color pallete and backgrounds. Also opening sequence was fantastic. I hope next time you'll focus more on the gameplay. Good luck!

Developer

Which one is not in the game? (if you didnt get a level that is on the screenshot its because of a known bug we fixed but we didnt have time to upload it on itchio, so if you missed a level try to refresh your page sorry for the inconvenience), and thank you for the feedback !

It worked actually. It was third level. Really nice pixel art on this level though. Game is really buggy but I beat it somehow

Submitted(+1)

I found a bug lol

Developer

Noooooo (dont worry its normal actually we didnt have time to post the right build)

Submitted(+1)

The rotation of the screen sometimes goes crazy but love the idea, the music is nice to

Very nice artwork and pretty cool concept, reminds me a bit of those classic flash puzzle platformers. The coding definitely needs a bit work, the game is just very buggy right now.

Developer

yeah we are aware of the bugs but we sadly thought that the deadline was 1 hour after the real deadline so we couldn't post the fixed version :(

The art is really cool. Unfortunately my enjoyment was restricted by the buggyness and clunky spinning mechanics. Great idea tho

Also maybe check out my game :>

The art/animation is phenomenal and I liked the sound design a lot! It took me a minute to figure out the keys for "turning" or that the whole map was supposed to spin, I just assumed I was bad at the platforming and kept dying on the spikes lol Overall though I think this is a great submission and you did a really good job! Hope you had a fun game jam <3

Very interesting idea but needs a bit more polish for how buggy it is, but I liked the style

Submitted(+1)

I really like the art in this game, seems like a lot of polish also went into the intro sequence and it has a lot of charm!

A little bit of scuff but it didn't bother me, in fact it was kinda funny to get the pinball effect when you die on the last level.

Art, sound & music were all done very nicely, and I appreciate the work you put into the intro sequence.

I saw in the ending that it's your first game, so great effort. Well done folks.
