Very cute little game and very funny! Great work on this, both! I had so much fun playing.
This game is really charming and cute. I really like the art. It's made me feel nostalgic, also. Good job!
Cutscenes with amazing art AND voice acting? Cinema. the gameplay was maybe a little short, but WHO CARES with such beautiful art and concept to make up for it haha, good job!
This was an absolute work of art! hahahaha
I loved the voice acting, I always like it when people go got lineart for 2d games because pixel seems to be most favored, and I was gonna make a joke about that being a very unsatisfying bag of popcorn because it only had 1 popped kernel but then you made that joke yourself! hahahaha
This was a joy, thank you for making it!
omg the lore!! I always like a game with good story. I wonder if there are multiple endings. I really liked the storylines and the art is absolutely beautiful. The gameplay was a bit chaotic ngl, the kernels moved too fast for me to understand what what happening, though I managed to be THE LAST KERNEL STANDING. Overall, very unique game!!
Thanks so much! Welcome to the PPA!!!

I can't believe I just enjoyed blasting around as a popcorn kernel. Loved the Colonel Kernel joke. Very unqiue take on the theme. I feel like the game needs some sort of power ups or something that maybe can be picked up mid fight.
Aw thanks so much!!! JOIN THE PPA!! Hopefully we'll be able to update it in the future :))
This was so incredibly goofy and made me laugh a ton! The cutscenes were great, felt like straight out of a funny YouTube animation or classic Flash game. Maybe it's because I charged up too much, but the physics did feel a little out of control and hard to handle. It was also hard to see the charge meter in areas of intense action; it's light-gray on dark-gray, so maybe changing the light-gray to another color (like purple, or change hue based on strength) would help with seeing that.
Love the arts !
BOBYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!
A little short for me, but I love how handmade everything felt. Also the dialogue was hilarious.
Thank you! Yes, it is short for sure, but we were a team of two and our focus was on quality over quantity.
Haha, love the little story, the sounds really handmade and everything. Gameplay is nice simple but really intuitive. It work well. And obviously the game is VERYYYY SERIOUS !!! 5/5 seriousness
Thank you so much!
I really enjoyed the cinematics production value and the humor of your game. :-)
Thanks! No humour here... this was a very serious game!
Creative take on the jam theme! Congrats! It was fun to play!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it.
Damn, the spinning of the microwave plus the spinning of the kernels, you guys doubled down on the spin theme, very creative, gotta love another microwave game too.
The world needs MORE microwave games!!
Great cutscenes and art, but I feel like the gameplay was not super deep. Could have been fun with maybe different enemy types, different arenas, maybe different attacking mechanics?
Great suggestions! Yes, as a two-person team, we worked mostly on honing in on one mechanic. Love the idea of different arenas and updating it in the future. Appreciate your time!
That was funny! Such a silly game, great job guys!
Aw thanks so much!! Hope you keep making things - lots of fun in yours too!!
I really liked it! The idea was creative and it was fun to play.
Aw thanks so much!!
cute little game with a very serious story! definitely needs a part two
I liked it a lot, nice story, simple gameplay, i would've liked if there were more mechanics but it's nicely executed
Fun! Love the story and simple gameplay. Not sure why sometimes launching doesn't move me anywhere though hahah
Sooner rather than later, I found out why voice "acting" was in quotes. Wheezed so hard.
My vocal chords hurt XD
