THIS. IS. FIRE.

Visuals and audio are top notch.
Menu screen is *kissing sound*.
Feedbacks are too much, but in a good way.

Abilities where confusing, but didn't care, was having a blast just spinning on this kaiju hehe

If you make updates (like adding some other kaijus menacing the peace of our city), I will gladly come back to save it again!

Your game is so polished, really well played to your your team!

Love the sheer amount of style in this game.

The abilities were a little confusing, could have used some sort of explanation for what was going on with them, but I didn't care because I was too enamored by how cool the whole vibe was. Nailed the old godzilla/kaiju film aesthetic, I wish it was a little longer/harder so I was playing for longer! Maybe just one more kaiju to fight, maybe. Please? Just a little (big) one.

"We saved the city"... meanwhile the city is in ruins :D

I really enjoyed this take on the theme and understood the fantasy of fighting a godzilla-esk monster but it did take me a little while to understand what was going on. I think the visuals and feedback are really good and helpful though! Overall fun game not seen any others like this yet :)

I couldn't beat the game but I still enjoyed myself, which may be quite good praise lol. The mimicking of old kaiju movies gives this a great aesthetic that makes it quite enjoyable. I did find getting off the map kinda punishing since I couldn't accelerate fast enough to get out, which led to quite a few deaths. Other than that, great game

I ended up beating the game without using the abilities. I didn't really get what they did and using ability 1 messed up my flow haha. I really like the theme and concept! I can feel the Pacific Rim vibes very clearly whenever the warnings came up. The physics are a bit tricky to get a handle of (but it is a giant spinning top) and it took me a few losses to understand why I kept dying in the ocean (I did not realize it was water...), but I enjoyed it nonetheless. Visuals are pretty good, I especially like the title screen. The depth of field effect in the gameplay arena is really neat also! Audio isn't bad and I think fighting Kaiju is VERY SERIOUS. Excellent work you guys!

I mostly agree with vibreart on this, I never really got a grasp on what 2 of the 3 abilities did, but other than understanding how it works it felt nice to play, the right feedback was all there and small details really tie it all together. The audio and visuals are absolutely stunning, really really dig the game

I saved the city, though I'm pretty sure I took out most of the buildings to do so.

I really liked the Kaiju being able to jump, and darkening the screen when it fired its beam attack.

I also appreciated the leniency when I went over the water for a short time, as otherwise I would have died a lot.

Overall a fun experience.

Sounds where indeed jaw dropping! I was a bit disappointed that everything was grey scale! The main menu was so beautiful with all the color, the mechanics where a bit difficult to get a handle on, but otherwise well done you guys!

Ok this looks cool but the gameplay feels... iffy.

Enjoyment: 2/5

As much as I'd like to give this an higher rating, the gameplay is extremely confusing to grasp. There's no in-game tutorial and I have absolutely 0 clue of what the 3 abilities are supposed to do when completing the minigames correctly. The gameplay idea looks very fun but there needs to be much better comunication, as it's extremely lacking (unless I missed something)

Creativity and Theme: 4/5

I definetly wouldn't expect a kaiju game when thinking about "Spin to win", but you somehow made it work and it's a very cool idea. I like what you went for.

Visuals: 5/5

Definetly the strong aspect of the project. The visuals look very very good and have a lot of charm that makes the game feel very unique. I especially love the title screen.

Audio: 5/5

Parallels the visuals very well, I don't have anything specific to say other than the fact that it works very well.

Seriousness: 3/5

I feel like Kaiju's can't be labeled as a top-tier serious topic, but also not the opposite. I feel like 3/5 fits well enough.

OVERALL RATING: 3/5

This could be peak but it really struggles to give you the first push towards understanding the gameplay, which sadly kinda halts the fun entirely. A better explained tutorial would do wonders in this <3

The time: 2:00 AM

Myself and others are huddled up trying to capture the warmth of the single heat lamp GameStop has provided its loyal customers.

Deep winter settles around us, black snow traveling on fervent gales. We have chosen our path and sowed our fates.

I press my pre-order receipt for Kaijuking vs. Titanotop closely to my chest. Hoping the Kaijuking himself shall heat my withering heart.

Though the night seems long, I brace myself for the worst. If Titanotop won't stop spinning in the face of the beast, then I shall not waver.

I persevere and wait for the doors to welcome me in to the king's domain. The Kaiju has awakened.
