I ended up beating the game without using the abilities. I didn't really get what they did and using ability 1 messed up my flow haha. I really like the theme and concept! I can feel the Pacific Rim vibes very clearly whenever the warnings came up. The physics are a bit tricky to get a handle of (but it is a giant spinning top) and it took me a few losses to understand why I kept dying in the ocean (I did not realize it was water...), but I enjoyed it nonetheless. Visuals are pretty good, I especially like the title screen. The depth of field effect in the gameplay arena is really neat also! Audio isn't bad and I think fighting Kaiju is VERY SERIOUS. Excellent work you guys!
