The storytelling and gameplay were genuinely so amazing!! I had so much fun with the levels and (I genuinely mean this) this hjas probably been the fun nest game I 've played in both the gamejam, and just in general!!! It was so funny and I had a great time!!!

The only little problems I have is a lack of tutorial, speed, and (kinda) difficulty. There was no tutorial and nowhere that showed even the binds of the game. It would've really helped to have at least have a  key bind chart or a mini tutorial so starting isn't as hard. The player also moves REALLY SLOW. It frustrated me a lot and I hated the game because of it until I found a little speed glitch. Also, the grabbing, too, especially if you're moving a lot (and even if your not) it takes like a second or 2 to grab things, which may sound like nothing sometimes, but especially in later levels, or if you grab the wrong thing, it gets kinda annoying. Difficulty is the last thing I got to say. It was definitely fine at first (lvl 1-4) but over time it started to feel almost impossible to keep the person 2nd in line because if the order you're working on is even a little too long, sometimes I just miss it. Mainly because of how long the super meat soup takes, any little mistake (like making the wrong soup :sob:) means you're cooked.

That's all, sorry for having so much more criticisms than complements, but I had such a really good time on this game, I know for a fact I'm coming back!!! (and please make a web build so I can play during school)

Thank you so much for taking the time to play my game and for writing such a detailed review, I really appreciate it! I think I definitely messed up a bit with the tutorial and the difficulty balance, but I will absolutely keep that in mind for the next time. Also, as soon as I have some free time, I plan to fix all these issues and polish everything I didn't manage to finish before the deadline. Thanks again!

I think the first time around i softlocked myself somehow because the prompts for unpacking the second and third boxes didn't show up anymore. the second time i managed to serve a normal soup, but i couldn't figure out how to add ingredients to the soup and ended up with a piece of cheese in my hand while the customer wanted tomato soup and there was no way for me to get rid of the cheese. I did enjoy the soundscape and art direction though. wish i could've figured out how to actually proceed with the gameplay though.

Thanks for the feedback! Actually, you can get rid of items, but the game badly needs a tutorial to show how it works. Appreciate you checking out the art!

I loved the story telling at the start of the game! It took me a second to realise you need to grab the bowls first, but was fun once I worked it out!
